I can finally start an offense of human players. The Bulls are likely to struggle this season, but I have been working hard. I will be on this board more as the season goes along. Have spent every hour I am on here trying to get players. Now that I have an offense I feel I can post on here. I look forward to this season, I certainly will learn alot.

Is defense more difficult to recruit cause I aint close to having a team on that side of the ball yet.

I would agree with steeks. I have sent out stupid contracts to people and nothing, then you send out reasonable contracts and they sign for the max. You can never get a grasp on what they are thinking. I sent out TONS of pm's, funny to see how many people didnt even read them

I feel your pain imnott. I think they should quit making anymore new teams because the talent pool is getting more and more shallow ... and greedy ... and filled with egos.

That reminds me of a few days ago. I see a level 26 guard that I think would be key as the main backup to both of my guard positions. Plenty of playing time involved, but still I decide to give him a ridiculously high offer (in my opinion).

I offered him $200,000 per year and the max bonus (right around $150,000) and also told him I'd take care of ALL his equipment when he got on board.

He turned me down ... not that I blame him ... some joker gave him $275,000 per year and a max bonus.

$275K for a level 26 guard!? That's about twice as much as I'm paying some of my level 30+ players!

I know. I mean, we can always provide you with the cash for EQ uprgades. The only reason I can think they need that much money is because Bort is implementing steroids and other drugs next season

Fuck the marketplace! It is better to use the game search engine and look for players. You have a better chance of getting a better player with a smarter agent for less cash!!!

You think its bad now, wait till the feature is added where the player can buy houses and cars....the money demand will be worse.

I've noticed that some Pro League team players aren't that high a level,so in effect, we're sometimes competing for the same players - yet they've got $50 million in cash and can pay $300,000 a season!
Seems like the key is just to hold onto existing players let alone recruit higher level ones.
