I have it on my RT, but it's only level 1 atm. I would in theory say yes, although I don't have enough data to determine if it's good in actual practice yet.

yes, but you'll need to get it early in your career and get the SA to 4 before it's really worth a darn (as with any out of position SA)

That's the piece I dream about. I'd even take it with +3 throwing.

I just got a +1 Speed, +1 First Step for my LVL 27 Center I'm debating.
In theory, you're Center would be able to knock the NT on his ass jumping off the snap like that, especially with the delay in reaction time that Bort has implemented on Defense.

quick cut is not the same as first step. first step is quick acceleration, quick cut is moving without losing speed. Both would help a DE and an OT.
i'd wait for a better equip than +1 spd +1 first step. That +1 speed is essentially (completely?) worthless.

Adding Speed means that when your C run blocking, you'll get to the second level faster if the RG on your team can take the NT by himself. That's huge for your running game, because that pits a C against an LB.

I've got first step and quick cut available to me right now, neither with any stats. I've got tokens to immediately upgrade twice (+2 skill, +2 SA total). Should I take one of them and if so, which would you go with, or should I wait?

If you have a high agility and a low speed, first step. If you have them more balanced, quick cuts. That's just my opinion though.

I just hit a jackpot and wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming:
+3 strength
+1 First Step
It's for my Lvl 33 G, but that seems off the hook to me.........buy it??

Yeah buy it. Bort himself said the First Step works for any player that is starting from a standing position or has slowed down to a near stop and started again. So it will help you at the snap, and if you block one guy then move on to another. When you start towards another person your first step will be improved there too. That's perfect with +3 STR. Upgraded to lvl 32, that'll be what?.....+7 or +8 STR? and +3 First Step. That's a great piece of EQ
