Alpha

Stockholm Dynamites @ South Beach Sea Hawks
South Beach played a close game, and their team stats show it, while Stockholm beat up on a farm team. Unfortunately it’s tough to really see what a team is made of when they play a game where they’re just padding the stats. At first I was going to say that Stockholm looks better, but given the competition in their first games I think South Beach has the edge.
Prediction: South Beach +14

Dusseldorf Noobs @ Norwich Nighthawks
Dusseldorf played a good game and came away with a win, and Norwich lost in a nail biter by a single point. Both teams are evenly matched, though the Norwich pass defense looked a little suspect in their first game. I think the Noobs see that and use it to secure their second win of the season, and send Norwich into blame-game mode.
Prediction: Dusseldorf +14

Amsterdam Magic Dragons @ Cologne Ghosts
Both teams took care of business in their first games, getting it done on both sides of the ball, and both delivering blowouts. Should be an interesting game, but I think Amsterdam is a little bit too strong for Cologne right now.
Prediction: Amsterdam +28

Glasgow Vultures @ Athens Devils
Probably the best matchup for game #2. Both teams got it done in their first games, with solid victories in both. Both teams are fairly balanced and get it done on defense.
Prediction: Even

Liverpool SEA Fusion @ Hamburg Vipers
Liverpool has two good chances at claiming victories this season, and this is one of them. The Vipers might not see a W all season. And what’s a ‘SEA Fusion’?
Prediction: Liverpool +3

Helsinki Hitmen @ Barcelona Assassins
Barcelona put up some huge numbers on the ground for game #1, with Helsinki not too far behind. Both teams were pretty stout versus the run game, and average against the pass. Sounds like similar teams to me. Barcelona holds a slight edge in levels, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for this one.
Prediction: Barcelona +14

Mannheim Spartans @ San Marino Falcons
Mannheim made me believe that CPU players can actually be viable, although I wouldn’t want any on my team. That’s the only way they could’ve kept it close in game #1 when they should’ve otherwise been overmatched. San Marino stole a win from a team that should’ve won, so this matchup is tough to read.
Prediction: San Marino +21

Barcelona Dare devils @ Amsterdam Red Lights
Amsterdam put a hurting on poor mismatched Chambersburg in game #1, while Barcelona edged Baden by a single TD. Don’t see any reason why the Red Lights don’t continue to roll.
Prediction: Amsterdam gets the blowout

Zeta

Chambersburg Trojans @ Sexintown Rubbers
It’s the Prophylactic Bowl! Chambersburg knows they’re a better team than game #1’s score actually showed, and they’ll be looking at poor old Sexintown to do it… and the Rubbers can’t do much to stop them. Sexintown Rubbers will be the team to get screwed in this game.
Prediction: Chambersburg gets the blowout

Stockholm Lions @ Jacksonville Jackalopes
Both teams are coming off of a loss and will be hoping to secure their first victory of the season. Stockholm brings the best passing offense in Zeta after one game, which is the only bright spot for both teams.
Prediction: Stockholm +21

Reading Armed Centaurs @ Barcelona Panthers
Each team moved down a notch in the rankings, and like 10 other Zeta teams they’re both looking for their first win of the young season. It’s still too early to make much of either team.
Prediction: Reading +14

Birmingham Polipocs @ Southampton Shadows
This game highlights two teams that might be lucky to win two games this season. Whoever wins this one might be the team that puts two in the win column. Other than that it’s two cellar dwellers slapping each other.
Prediction: Birmingham +10

Atlanta 404 @ Milan Eagles
Milan was one of the few Zeta teams to muster up a W for game #1, and Atlanta lost a heartbreaker by 2 whole points. Both teams were actually even matched close to their game #1 counterpart, but not so much in this game. Milan put all of their eggs in the rushing basket for the first game, so it should be interesting to see if they do the same for the second game, and can Atlanta stop it?
Prediction: Atlanta +30

Blackburn Carnage @ Baden Bandits
I’m a bit biased for this game, so I’ll try to be careful.
Baden lost a close one to a team that might be slightly better, and Blackburn posted a blowout on the Alpha practice squad. There is a decent level difference between the two teams, so an upset seems unlikely.
Prediction: Blackburn +30, possibly blowout

Lyon Winemakers @ Denver Hounds
Can you guess one thing that Lyon has in common with 11 other Zeta teams? They all lost in their game #1 matchups. Denver on the other hand pulled a close one out against a team that they should’ve manhandled… kind of like how Lyon got pimp slapped.
Prediction: Denver +14

Berlin Blitz @ Nashville 615
What does 615 mean?
Prediction: Berlin gets the blowout

SEA Fusion is basically the collection of players on the team. all came from the SEA A#4 league, we wanted to make a slow build team.

so the first season or so will be wasted, its understandable

Well I'll come out and say this right now:

Lyon winemakers are not to be counted out.

I know my QB isn't too great, but he is working on it, and I am working on the team. we have active build discussions and I have been handing out basically plans for each player on how they can progress.

if you bother to go look at my profile you'll see I run 4 defenses and am a defensive/builds advisor to many other teams.

and almost all those teams are consistant playoff threats (one or two are still workin on it)

So just as a friendly reminder, don't just laugh us off, we WILL surprise you.

That's cool. It's early in the season and I'm sure my opinions on certain teams will change over the coming games. One game is hardly enough to evaluate teams.

So we'll see if your team's play can match your speech. And I'll mark 11/26 down on the calendar.
