Warrior General Games

We do this in Oceania Pro and it's pretty popular. Sorta like the NCAA Coaches poll, it get's all the teams involved. If you'd like to do it I don't mind running it.

After each game, each team can pick 1 representative to rank the top 10 teams in the league, in order, and PM the list to me. Only 1 list per team will be accepted. So do me a favor and tell me what team you are representing in the heading of the PM.

Every 1st place vote will get 10 points for that team, every 2nd place vote will get 9 points, etc etc...

I will compile the points and post the results in this forum each off day.

I'll start a new topic after each game as a reminder to get the votes in. You can vote for any team including your own regardless of conference. If you want to vote 10 Elephant teams or 10 Lion teams go right ahead. But the fun part is comparing the coaches poll to the "power rankings". Usually by week 5 or so the Coaches Poll is a truer barometer of how teams will perform against each other. By week 10 the Coaches poll is dead nuts on. It's pretty fun.

No team has to participate if you don't want to, it's just a little something to make the league more fun.

Cool we have some interest already, thanks guys!! I'll make the cutoff for votes 5PM EST the day after the game. That will give me enough time to tally the votes and get the list out early enough for everyone to see.

Participation is usually slow at 1st but once teams start seeing everyone listed after each game, they jump in to get their own votes counted

Chugga will be sending in the Legionnaire's poll. He already has the Elephant rankings done, so adding in 1 or 2 deserving Lion teams shouldn't be an issue

1 or 2? That's funny...

Is there a way to bring up the page that has all the game scores on it? The day of the games the league page has it, but today they are gone.

Ok I just got home from work. I'll close the poll now and add up the rankings and post them on a new thread. Give me an hour or so, I gotta make sure my FF rosters are set for tonights NFL game as well.

Not too great of a turnout, only 8 out of 32 teams, but that's OK. It will pickup as the league rolls on. Thanks to everyone who sent in lists
