focus: run block
pancake: +2 more

and you'll see more pancakes.

Not saying that is what is best for your build or player or team! Answers your question, though.

i'd say it's fairly frustrating, to be honest. the leagues all just got "realigned" and that team is still in an USA A level league.

Getting your stamina up over 40 would definitely help, as it keeps you fresher throughout the game, and you don't take as big of hits to your initial attributes when you tire.

Might also help to be on a team where the other guys can hold blocks long enough that you have the time to pancake a defender before the ball carrier is destroyed in the backfield.

IM not a starter and I had 84 pancakes in 27 plays today. Top of my team. More than double than all the other guards combined.=) 30 more that the closest one to me.=)

I don't get it either. My G has 11 more points in strength and 5.5 more in blocking than the backup on his team, but he always gets more pancakes than my guy. My guy also has 4 more than him in the run block SA and 2 more in the pancake SA. The ONLY attribute he has more points than me in is tackling. He has 8 more points in tackling than my guy. Everything else, they are within a point on except speed where my guy has 12 more in speed than him.

I don't really care all that much because we are winning a lot of games and won it all last season.

But, the pancake stat is messed up.

I bet if you switch spots letting the backup start and you play backup you would start to see more pancakes. Typically you wear them down and the backup pancakes them, unless the backup isn't nearly as good as the starter.

Don't you wish you spent those pancakes SA points on something else?

lol yeah, they're doing nothing for me.

I guess I should just put a bunch of points into tackling. I know that's supposed to do nothing for an o-lineman, but that is the only thing that makes sense.

Maybe it's not a pancake, but his guy just tackling the NT like a linebacker does a running back.

I'd say it's cause you're on Cobra Kai, but you're also on Salem so it evens out

whatever you do, Do NOT waste a single point in tackling. If you have already, or even trained it, then retire him and start over.

Maybe fatload's right. I'll try to get stamina up a little and see what that does.

If that doesn't do it, the only other thing I can see is that my guy's strength to blocking ratio is not 1:1 like his is. It's more like 1.1 to 1. Slightly more strength than blocking.
