Its finally here. The first game of season 6. As we all anxiously await the sim, whats going through everyone's minds?

The teams from the BBB leagues are excited to get things underway and get a peek at their new opponents. No doubt the O.G. A#8ers are looking to do the same. Those that finished middle of the pack last season will be interested to see if those off season moves paid off. While those who fell just short of victory in the playoffs are keeping a close eye on their fellow elite competitors. There are a lot of great games this week.

It appears Rapid City will have their hands full with the Grizzlies. While I'm not to familiar with the Grizzlies, they appear to have a very solid roster. Rapid City has always been a solid club. This should be a very good game.

Colorado @ Pittsburgh looks to be a hard fought match-up between two evenly matched teams. Same goes for Detroit @ SNK and San Fran @ Rhode Island. I wish I had more to say about these games, but unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the teams. Maybe someone else has some interesting input?

New Brunswick @ DVD Talk is most definitely the game of the week, for me anyway. 2 very tough teams that come out of my old stompin grounds, the BBB#15. DVD knocked us out of the playoffs in round 2 last season and went on to lose to Rapid City in the Conference Finals, while NBSK went on to become the league champions. Both teams have been elite contenders for the past 3 or 4 seasons and I don't expect this season will be any different. This will be a fun outcome to see as both teams are used to having a win/loss cushion early on. Good luck boys! *cough*Rep it for the West, DVD!*Cough*

I can't remember the last time we had this many good match-ups in the same week. All in all, its pretty exciting.

Yeah. Definitely a step up from last season. But time will tell.

Montana, per the OP, is indeed a solid team who has been on the verge of a playoff berth time and again in this division. Destin, Rhode Island and New Hampshire all beat them out for a spot last season. With so much changed, I'm sure they'll be looking to make their first playoff push this season.

The division looks a LOT different than it did last season. Nashville, Vermont and Crimson all moving on from the East's old guard really shakes things up.
A BBB 16 team moved up, then proceeded to take the division, so I expect all the unknowns to step right in and make a big first impression this season too.
I still have to go with NBSK as the favorites for now in the East. they got a tough pull in the East-West matchups in DVD though - going to be a very good game, and whoever wins is going to have a morale boost and the much of an easier time in their division.

Over in New Hampshire, we pulled Florida. Any other season previous, that would have called for a huge scramble among our scouts and game-planning. They've been a tough matchup in all seasons previous. But with the team sold, and most of the top talent gone out of division or to the already-were-a-powerhouse Putnam Kegballers, it shouldn't be the toughest of starts, in total contrast to last season.

ahh... shit. How come our inter-conference games are always Gulf State, NBSK, Memphis, etc. Why can't we get Michigan, State of Texas, New Hampshire, or South Texas for once?

Because most of those are still down in BBB 15, and we got the Vikings last season, so we were due a better option for our cross-conference this time.

They'll be up eventually when I get a better sense of some of the teams, and I'm back to DCing just one team and helping a little with others, instead of being interim DC to help out on a couple extras.
