2 IN A ROW FOR THE GLOBETROTTERS!!
The Globetrotters won their second consecutive game beating Flathead 30-24. The Flathead team took and held the lead in the game into the 4th quarter until they just ran out of gas and could not keep up with the well conditioned Denver team on their home field. Coach D-Will was unable to attend the game due to a family issue and Defensive Coordinator Holly took the reins of the team for the match-up. "Yeah well everything was already set for the game. The players already know their roles and assignments, so all I have to dues is call a couple of timeouts" said Holly. Coach D-Will is already back in the team training facility and will be preparing for the upcoming week.
After a shaky start in the opening week QB What responded with a 295 yard 1 td game to silence all the critics. What had this to say. "I think I had a good game out there today. The team played well and I am just glad I was able to perform the way everyone knows I can and we got the win. Plus right after the game Nike called me and I got the endorsement Ive been waiting for".
Will Power ran for the century mark today and also got his first rushing touchdown of the season. Also scoring on the ground was Speedy Mcgee who is looking to increase his role on the Denver team. "I love playing with the Globetrotter's but I just want to feel like I am contributing in some way. Ive talked to the coaches and I think we have figured out a way to get me on the field a little more" said Mcgee.
The receivers on Denver had a good game as a group and found a new leading receiver in Elessedil who had 9 catches for 44 yards. Playmaker(we really need to change this name) led the team in receiving yards with 108 yards on 6 receptions. Carl Lewis the big off-season signing, once again was double and triple covered limiting him to 4 catches for 39 yards. However the attention he received took pressure off his fellow receivers and allowed them to be productive.
Crybaby the teams kicker shined once again staying perfect on the season with 3 successful field goals and 3 extra points. Punter Sponebob had 5 punts on the day for a 37.2 yard net average.

The defense for Denver played a much better game against a stronger team missing far fewer tackles and winning the turnover battle collecting 3 interceptions. DT McCraken was available for comment after the game and had this to say " I am thrilled to be playing on the defense. This is the reason I came over to Denver and signed a contract. These guys know how to play team defense".
