I'd also like to point out that regardless of first-game outcomes, I would rank SS first in the west as they draw TLSC while the other powerhouses have pushovers.
We finally agree on something Ramius ... I would say the top 5 going into the season is Sasquatches, Vikings, Wolverines, Revelstoke, and Thunder. But that is just at first glance without doing any research. I wish I had time to do a real power rankings ...
btw Ramius, the West is not scared of Los Caballeros The scrimmages, although pretty much meaningless, proved they can be beaten by the West, no offense to TLSC. I will say they had a pretty big chemistry disadvantage though, and the gameplans were probably experimental.
No worries. After Cold Lake stomps the shit out of you tomorrow, you will have so many guys on IR, you will have to forfeit the season and we will just give you an NA in the rankings instead of 32?

Haha! Hey ocho, just be glad it's Cold Lake and not the Vikings or Sasquatches as your interconference game. We don't pile up the points like they do. They have no mercy for the weak. Revelstoke will also put 200 on you in the blink of an eye.
My quick thoughts without really taking a look at changes to teams too much:
West: 1) Sasquatches: Made nice upgrades, always had great gameplanning 2) Vikings: Talented on both sides, but they still have problems with the D AI from time to time 3) Cold Lake: One of the highest leveled teams, if not the highest, but either builds and/or gameplanning is not quite as good as Sasquatches (but it is good) 4) Revelstoke: Clear difference between this team and the top three in seasons past. Can they bridge the gap this season? 5) Calgary Thunder: Always good, but never quite been elite.
East: 1) Lone Star--Will absolutely dominate this division 2) Flint Tropics--If they continued to improve, they'll be as good as Revelstoke, but in a easier conference 3) Ballina Big Prawns--A notch below the top two, but in an easy conference, they might even have a better record than Cold Lake or Revelstoke 4) Halifax--Lack of recruiting hurt. Their not really elite in any area, which means they can be beaten 5) Iqaluit--Surprise here, but they've been borderline for a while. Now with an easy conference, they look better
