Warrior General Games

I am sure just like the last guy who did them last season I will get a lot of flack for not choosing their/your team.

There are a lot of new teams this year I think within a few games we will get a feel for how good they are.

The teams that moved up from A are at a disadvantage since they were capped last season and now come into a league with teams full of Lvl 30 players. Alls I can say is Builds>Levels.

I will try my best to do one of these each game..no promises though.

A change from last season..we now play the interconference game as our first game and not our last.

I honestly know more about Lion Conference teams then Elephant...but I will try my best to not be biased, but I lack knowledge and info on the Elephant teams

Malagasy Bushmen vs Cairo Crocodiles
The Bushman have been around for a while in AA, They are pretty thin for depth on their Defense...Only 2 CB's??? But I see the combo of Sammy Thunder to Speed Raycer showing up more and more throughout the season. Chemistry shows me they are trying to make improvments but need more as the season goes to get into the playoffs. Overall Record: 5-11

The Crocodiles will be one of the top teams this year and have a legit chance at a Championship this season. A lot of Lvl 27 players but don't let that fool you...aka what DD did last season. Not sure if they are all under one or a few owners, but this team is complete for season to come. Perfect Chemistry ratings make this team textbook. Overall Record: 14-2

Game Prediction: Crocodiles 110-17

Actual Crocodiles 86-27 pretty close

African Fire vs Sierra Leone Magicians
The Fire have also been hanging in AA for a few seasons. They have the talent needed to make the playoffs this year..Weak spot is at OT and only 1 DT?? Fill up that roster and they make the playoffs as an Away team. Overall Record 9-7

The Magicians are under new management and opted not to go to A and stay at AA. Their roster needs a lot of work and will stuggle this season. They have the stadium and cash on hand to make sure big FA pickups through the season. Overall Record 1-15

Game Prediction: Fire 155-21

Actual Fire 94-9 a little lower then I thought

White Nile Piranha vs Lake M'Zumba Cannibals
Piranha's are a team from A, Roster is all signed for Season 6. Unfortunately their Lvl 21's were okay in A, but won't cut it this season vs 10 Level's higher, great builds are not. Team Chemistry will hurt them also this season. Overall Record 5-11

Cannibals I don't know much about, they have a Stud at OT in Tony Bag O'Donuts (Lvl 40) look for him near the top in Pancakes with their running game dominating games against lower teams. Team is thin, gotta be near the Minimum of 40 guys. They make the playoffs and could push for a home spot. Overall Record 11-5

Game Prediction Cannibals 42-28

Actual Cannibals 47-21 close enough

Atlantic Blue Jays vs Serengeti Wildebeest
The Blue Jays appear to have gotten better this offseason...Mark it down..(HB) Nicholas Alexander will get his 2000 yards and be near the top in Rushing. 1 DT and no Kicker?? They have some talent but it is spread out. They will make the playoffs and also could push to get a home spot if a few more players are brought in and get those Inactive guys on Defense Active. Overall Record 10-6

Serengeti has a full roster, but a lot of Sub Lvl 20 guys. Team must have had some great gameplanning to make it to AA. Will need atleast another season to have their guys level up and level the playing field in AA. Overall Record 3-13

Game Prediction Blue Jays 72-28

Actual Blue Jays 69-7 Close enough

Freetown Palookas vs Rwanda Assassins
Palookas are making moves trying to get top level guys and seem to be doing a good job of it. Defense should hold teams but will Offense have enough power to overcome top level teams?? Great depth on Defense. Chemistry might hurt but good chance at the playoffs. Overall Record 8-8

Assassins have a solid roster and also seem to run with the Minimum 40 man roster. A solid starting lineup. Could do some damage in the Elephant Conference. A playoff team and likely candidate for a home game Overall Record 12-4

Game Prediction Assassins 28-17

Actual Assassins 40-17 close enough

Ethiopia Executioners vs Zanzibar Leopards
Executioners seem to be an up and down team, their roster is the same way with medium lvl 30's at some spots and medium lvl 20's at others. 4 Centers?? only 4 DLineman? Some guys will be playing out of position. Should be a playoff team. Overall record 7-9

Leopards are a good team, they are pretty solid all around and have 2 RB's that should be a force in the league. Definately a playoff team and a good candidate for a home spot come playoff time. Overall record 13-3

Game Prediction Leopards 26-20

Actual Leopards 89-13 Little off here

Kilimanjaro Kamikaze vs Richmond Raiders
Kamikazes are new to the League, watch out for the combo of Lucian Grey to James Crenshaw. They have added a few top level guys, but will it be enough to make the playoffs? Overall record 5-11

Raiders come in as one of the favorites in the Elephant Conference, Starting lineup is very impressive, key is to get them tired and get to their backups, should see a lot of low scores put up against them. Should be a home playoff team. Overall record 14-2

Game Prediction Raiders 110-10

Actual Raiders 73-17 close enough

Rhein Main Magic Mushrooms vs Cape Town Shinobis
The Mushrooms is a middle of the pack team their lvls are just above the A's and just below the remaining AA. This used to be a team you could post 100+ points a game on, I don't forsee that again. Don't be surprised if they have to beat out one of the new A teams to get the last playoff spot. Overall Record 8-8

Shinobis are another one of those up and down teams, they have a Lvl 31 CB starting next to a Lvl 18 CB, a good start but still missing a few key pieces to the roster. Another team that might be fighting to get a playoff spot

Game Prediction Shinobis 35-34

Actual Shinobis 21-20 Actually pretty impressive I knew it would be a 1 point game

Band of Brothers vs Real Men of Genius
Brothers are at the top and for good reason they have great starters and great depth to back it up. A top WR, who will most likely lead the league in yards and receptions. Overall Record 14-2

RMOG is a dark horse, team that goes under the radar type of team. They beat 2 good teams in scrimmages, they have a solid LB core and I am better some good Tactics/gameplanning. Look for them to beat out teams for a playoff spot. Overall Record 9-7

Game Prediction Brothers 42-28

Actual Brothers 32-27 Close enough

Cape Verde Headhunters vs EEORG Bastards
Headhunters are another team that should get a home spot this season. They have a Solid Defense and run the ball effectively with Akira Sendoh, who will be at or near the top in rushing again. Overall Record 12-4

Bastards have a big time Offense that can beat you many ways, don't see why they won't be on top at season end. A big Scrimage lost to the Brothers...I will blame it on new tactics. Overall Record 15-1

Game Prediction Bastards 55-38

Actual Headhunters 34-31 1st Wrong...Headhunters are good, I was hoping they would get an early loss for my teams sake

Katanga Diamonds vs Swaziland Semnikati
Diamonds return, they finished strong last year if I remember right, a sign of things to come this season. Solid Starters and great depth in their secondary. Will be a likely candidate to get a home game for the playoffs. Overall Record 12-4

Semnikati are a good looking team, but like many A teams coming up, might not be able to make up the difference in Levels by player builds alone. Watch out for this team next season, will make good strides this season. Overall Record 5-11

Game Prediction Diamonds 41-7

Actual Diamonds 72-20 a little off, but not to bad

Warriors of Anubis vs Zimbabwe Black Rhinos
Anubis are one of the top A teams to come to AA. They have picked up talent in the offseason to try and make a name right away for themselves. I really like this team, especially the player Golden Paris, look for them to put up big passing #'s each week. Overall Record 9-7

Rhinos also have been making moves in the offseason. They have one of the top Olines in the league which could wear down a lot of the thinner Dlines our there. Look for them to make the playoffs and push for home field. Overall Record 9-7

Game Prediction Rhinos 21-20

Actual Anubis 57-6 2nd Wrong...Big time wrong....I told you I really like this team.....big matchup w/us Red Sea Wave this next game

Port Harcourt Playmakers vs Cairo Cannibals
Playmakers are another solid team that came up from A, but haven't made much offseason movement and it might cost them early on. Look for them to finish strong and hope to slide into the playoffs. Overall Record 7-9

Cannibals are another solid team that came up from A, they have been trying to make offseason movement, it's tough getting top level guys. In the same boat as the playmakers and this could be a big game for both teams to start off on the right track

Game Predictions Cannibals 17-14

Actual Playmakers 33-21 3rd Wrong...my predictions are taking a turn for the worse here

Scottish Sharks vs Dakar Dragons
The sharks are still around. It seems like they financially just get by every season. They made some moves this offseason, but LB Stuart Anderson is still there and will help hold the Defense together. Sharks benefit from Low level A teams and get into the playoffs this year. Overall Record 9-7

Dragons are solid but fall into the category as so many other A teams as being out leveled in a lot of games. Maybe not this season, but next season they will be near the top. Solid/Monopoly type O-Line. Overall Record 7-9

Game Prediction Sharks 56-17

Actual Dragons 61-21 4th wrong.....Dragons are impressive..bow to them

Burundi Hutu vs Trinidad Trojans
Hutu's lineup looks like they came from A, but have AA expereince and will help them overcome new A teams this season. I still like looking at those Avatar's they have. Okay depth will help them make a playoff push. Overall Record 7-9

Trojans are a slowbuild team it seems and will need a few seasons to have it pay off, look for them to go back to A after the season, losing games by 200+ a game.
Overall Record 1-15

Game Prediction Hutu 166-14

Actual 255-0 Impressive regardless

Red Sea Wave vs Casablanca White Houses
BIASED:The Wave are a high powered offense that is managed well, they have the largest stadium, the most top level guys, solid backups. Good luck in AAA next season
Overall Record 14-2

White Houses can you say inactive? over 70% of their roster is inactive right now. They unfortunately get the worst draw of the Elephant vs Lion Matchups. Team has potential though, maybe next season. Overall Record 6-10

Game Prediction Wave 125-28

Actual Wave 63-7 Good win, only half the points I thought we would have...a win is a win

First of all, thanks for taking the time to do this.

However, the White Nile didn't take 3rd place in the league last year with "okay" players. And secondly, chemistry doesn't really factor in as much as you seem to think.

Either way, I'm not sure how Bort expected any A teams that moved up to be very competitive (especially those of us without home playoff games last season) without complete roster revamps and leaving the guys that got the team here in the dust. No matter, though. We're here and we're not giving up without a fight.

I do believe chemistry has an sizable effect on team play...I found it out the hard way last season...but everyone has their opinions

Good stuff and thanks for taking the time to do it. It takes a lot of work to look over each game and team and then come up with a write up on it. I do think it adds a lot to the forum as the season goes along to have something like this.

I expect the A league teams to be competitive and they will not only have each other to beat on but can also potentially surprise some of the holdovers in AA. Builds and tactics can make up for a lot in levels, especially with everyone trying to learn the new AI and what works/doesn't work. After all, its why we play the games.

The owner for the Crocs has a lot of his guys on the team, but it is a group effort. There is a coordinator for offense and another for defense and other members have input on game plans, etc.

I agree, I forsee a few teams that came from A to make it in the Top 4 in each League. I probably spend an hour on this first few games...Hopefully two more tonight will wrap it up..I try and look at everyteams roster/chemistry and that is about it really, I don't know teams builds/gameplanning ETC. Purely prediction as I see it

A team I GMd for got down as low as 30 in chemistry our first season, went into the playoffs under leveled with chemistry still in the 50s and went all the way to the League Championship with no close games at all against teams 4-5 levels above us. No difference in miss tackles, drops ints fumbles, nothing.

Chemistry will hurt you with a low morale combination i think but as long as the team has high morale, you are fine.

The numbers provided for "chem effect to attributes" has been announced by Bort himself. Cant find the link tho(was in some discussion thread, not an actual announcement), but i have seen him say that the max is 10%, and its about 1-2% once you are above 70 chem.

No kidding, those three games are the ones I am most looking forward to honestly. I want to see how we hang, or not haha, with teams of that caliber in only our first year out of a 13 cap league.

This is going to be a painful year compared to last, but we are going to learn a lot from it and come back stronger next season for it.

I will be out of town for the next two games so if someone would like to fill in for me that would be great. I will resume for 4th week/games
