Best advice for position specific would be to ask in the QB and HB forums.

There's really not much to slowbuilding. Either go cap-focused or training focused.

I threw this together yesterday in a private forum:

1. Get a good roll with 8s in your non-primary and non-secondary attributes.
2. Save your initial 15 SPs
3. Decide on your player's strategy. It may help to build a level 40 player and then work towards that goal.
4. Take a look at your "virtual" level 40 player. His highest attribute is the one you should train and cap first. Train intense with the second highest attribute if possible. If not possible, train intense with the third highest attribute, etc. Turn bonus tokens in for more SPs.
5. Save skill points and cap the highest attribute to at least the third cap or where ever such that the leveling bonus will get you to your level 40 attribute score without additional SPs (don't forget about EQ bonus and how you spent it in your virtual build).
6. Cross of the top attribute and repeat steps 4 and 5 for the next highest attribute.

Of course this is an ideal situation. This player will be bad until 3rd or 4th season

Puma's advice is always solid on this...I have a guy on a slowbuild team with him, he knows what he's doing. If you want your guy to play well in his second or third season (only 1 or 2 years of slowbuilding), for step 5, just get to the first cap for attribute 1, then first cap 2, then first cap 3 (in most cases). After that, go back to 1, then 2, etc.
