In an unprecedented move the Cajun Crushers' front office has reached a deal with Cascade Brewery of Hobart to bring the francise to Tasmania after a four season hiatus. Midlineveer originally purchased the Hobart based franchise and changed their name in season one. In season two the Crushers agreed to move the franchise to Bikini Atoll with the promise of a new stadium and upgraded facilities. The Gumbo Bowl was built but it wasn't to the size and standards expected by the Crusher front office. While the Crushers enjoyed a loose tax code and the untapped fan base, a level of trust was never built between ownership and the Bikini Government.
Season six is a new beginning for the Crusher organization and with it the front office saw no better time to relocate to the place of their origin. Cascade Brewery built a state of the art max capacity facility that the Crusher will now call home. The architect of the Blockbuster Deal, Team President Ougigoe even managed to persuade the fine folks at Cascade relocate Glen's Place, a local hangout owned by Crusher TE/FB/ST legend Glen Paxton. Glen's Place, now serving only Cascade Premium Lager, will be located in the The Cascade Sports Facility along side Poo Poo Broussard Memorial Stadium.
The Crusher front office also announce they have agreed to take on the full sponsorship of Australia’s flagship beer and change there name to The Cascade Cajun Crushers.
