No offense, but I find this to be a slap in the face to teams like Doomsday, Monmouth, and Honolulu for you guys just to teleport all the way to the top like that.

Oh well, good luck. You are going to need it.

This is true, jumping from BBB to Pro overnight is a bit extreme. Twin Cities moving up to AAA seemed like a big jump, until now. But, definitely good luck to you guys.

I appreciate what you're saying, but I don't know that it's a slap in the face. Most Pro teams didn't earn their way there - they were simply first in line when GLB started. We didn't have that opportunity as we joined GLB somewhere in Season 2.

I wrestled with even posting anything because I'm sure 99 percent of GLB isn't happy with the move we made, but I wanted to show respect to the teams we played over the last few seasons and at least say goodbye instead of leaving in the night. For us, simply, the opportunity to move presented itself and my team and I chose to take it. We've never shied away from challenges, even from USA Pro. So we just feel we can compete and right now we're doing everything we can to make sure we represent.

Honestly, I liken this to a Vince Papale kind of situation, a guy in street clothes just walking on the field and trying to make the team. 99.9 percent of walk-on tryouts fail miserably. I understand the odds. But if someone gives me the opportunity, and I have people like the people on my team, I owe it to them - and myself - to at least take that chance.

And that's why we love you! It's no disrespect to teams like Honolulu, we never got to face them, and they come from the same place we do, the cream will always rise to the top and I'm sure all those teams we've faced before will soon be joining us in the pros, I look forward to seeing you guys in a couple of seasons, we never forget where we come from, there is no sense of entitlement on this Philly team, just a never ending competitive drive, we believe we are the best, and we are taking advantage of a chance to play with the best, I don't find any shame, or offense in that! And certainly not a slap in the face to anybody as I'm sure ALL of those teams mentioned would've JUMPED at the same opportunity!

I'm surprised they let you move up Knight...but I'm happy for you. I think the main thing is that your a dedicated and smart owner and that is what the Pros need. Even if you finish in the bottom half this season, I'm sure in the long run you'll find a way to win. You always have. Good Luck

Thanks Moo. We'll try hard to represent.

I kind of agree, no disrespect to you guys or anyone else who jumps up like that, wouldnt you rather prove that you belong at the top the way most teams do rather than trying to prove it each week on the field, cause lets be honest about this, your gonna get players to sign onto your team this season that never would have just because your in USA Pro, so equating your team to vince papale isnt really a fair comparison

reguardless, obviously its not a slap in the face to us cause we suck but i can see Jericoholic's point about the teams that did the old fashioned way

good luck to you though

It'll feel that much better to those of us who earn it, eh?

I'm sick of people suggesting that we haven't earned something, we've never backed down from a single challenge, we saw the opportunity to take upon ourselves the toughest challenge of all, and we haven't backed down, just because our owner has more initiative than any of you guys doesn't diminish the fact that we have EARNED the right by suffering through a tough first season together, and staying together as we became a class organization and added the pieces to contend in the ocho which is still one of the toughest leagues around, and we will stick together as we add the pieces needed to win USA Pro, so quit having your pity parties for yourselves and take some initiative to improve yourselves, and quit worrying about us
