Warrior General Games

SEA was impressed by your Magellan Cup against South America, and thought it would be fun to do something similar with Oceania v SE Asia

ie:
a) an odd number of matches (so there is no need for tiebreaker)
b) seeding would be matched up as close as possible - ie #1s vs #1s, #5s vs #5s etc
c) Only one game per team -- all games take place on same night (hopefully)
d) Region with the most wins.. wins

A cool theme/banner and logo would be created (ala the Magellan Cup) and could be run again in the future if it goes well and is fun.

And the list will no doubt grow. Shooting for midseason (day 16ish) to give everyone a chance to settle into the new AI yet not be a major distraction from a playoff push

Maybe we do like an 11 v 11 (for the football significance).... or take as many that are interested as long as we end up with an odd number of teams.. so no tiebreaker needed?

When do SEA games SIM? Just curious if we play on the same day normally or if one of us will have to make arrangements to play 2 games on the same day. Can be an issue for those players who only log in once a day.

The Barossa Grapestompers would participate.

Just make sure we don't play the South Austin Bats, as Wine owns both teams and I don't think scrims are possible (yet) between 2 teams you own.

VKS already took down the Red Warriors, does that count?

Very good idea, those challenges gather great folks and it is very fun to play.
Pacific cup sounds good, it was suggested for the OPL-SAP ryder cup.

our games sim on the same day as Oceania Pro, but ours are 11 am CST
