Greetings A5,
I have just become the owner of the Tupelo Silverbullets. Let me start by giving much respect to the previous regime as they seemed to be a very well run team who did a lot of good things in the A5. That being said, with the first order of business, I have changed the team name to the ATX Longhorns.
This is the first team I have owned, in fact, I just started playing in season 5. As such, I’m sure Grim Reefa (GM) and I will make plenty of mistakes and poor moves—just be advised that these are strictly for your amusement of course. That and we have no idea what in the hells we are doing! A little about the team, we are from Austin, Texas (hence the ATX) and we are diehard Texas Longhorn fans. The team is currently comprised of only four agents who are coworkers and are strictly committed to the eventual domination of the A5. As you can probably tell we have signed a few relatively low leveled players. This is mainly due the fact that between the four of us we own all of the players as we can rule over them with an iron fist. We totally expect to experience a few set backs. I can even envision a scenario where we may lose up to 2 games this year; maybe even 3. We’ll see.
Thank you to all who have welcomed us—we definitely feel the love. I am looking forward to a great season! Good luck to all.
Oh, and for the record:
Our cheerleaders are old fat guys with mullets, but the definitely put out. (We are currently looking to sign some free agents here!)
And we make a mean Mexican Martini.
