I'm experimenting with Get Low now on a Guard...
But I was curious about Cut Block - does anyone think jumping would help with that SA? Or has anyone actually noticed it working properly?

Hey im probably not going to tell you much you don't already know. but I think get low is a lot better. Cut block states that it works better when you are over matched. I don't plan on being over matched. Get low says it VERY important for a team that runs a lot. I like get low a lot better as I have watched it on replays. it renders defensive players immobile against you then you push them back about 5 yards. it's nice.

And to answer your question I don't think jumping would help cut block, It's worth looking into though. and no I have never noticed it working. I don't even know what it looks like on replays.

I get shot down every time I bring up jumping to people. After reading a bort quote of a LONG list of things it helps, he basically said jumping wont help blocking.

You can't even compare the two. Cut Block is for weaker, more athletic OLinemen. Get Low is for maulers.
