shrug, I think it's completely silly that tackling is auto level and spd is not. but at this point, I really don't see it changing. I'm pretty sure it'd be very difficult to apply retroactively, and without doing so it would result in a ton of backlash. so, while I support the idea in theory, I pretty much see no possible way for it to happen.

I agree, Speed is more important to OTs than Tackling.

Speed is important to fullbacks, too, but I don't see them complaining.

It's been complained about since the beginning, and the only thing done about it was that Bort dropped the tackle bar. Not really the results that everyone was hoping for, but that is all that has been done.

This is one of many fallacies in the major/minor attribute system.
So like... build your player extra nice and it won't be a problem.
