Our team, the Okinawa Kamikazes, was purchased at the start of last season in the SE Asia AAA#1 league. It came with zero players, so after thinking about it for a while I reluctantly decided to turn it into a slow build team and prepare to be competitive sometime down the road.
At first when we heard that Bort planned to realign the leagues we were quite excited as that meant we would be competitive immediately instead of having to wait several more seasons. We are quite disappointed that it appears it hasnt worked out that way as it certainly appears we have zero chance to make the playoffs in our new SE Asia AA#1 league.
We are interested in moving to one of the capped leagues, Africa A or Canada BBB. We still would likely struggle to make the playoffs as we would be significantly outleveled by the majority of capped teams, but at least we would stand some chance of chasing the postseason and then hopefully be more solidly competitive next season.
