Is it fair to call any team a dynasty yet? If so, who else makes that list?

I think its way too early to call anyone a dynasty yet...we're not even through the 1st generation player careers yet.

I personally think a dynasty will be a team that can straddle the player generations and still win trophies. Plus, you guys have 1 trophy at the PRO level, and that is not meant to be offensive in any way, just pointing it out.

The Benitos have, for example, 5 conference championships and 4 league championships over in South America, all at the PRO level.

I'd guess that they would probably be considered a dynasty team...4 PRO championships in 5 seasons...if we were talking dynasty already.

There are plenty of teams here that have things to be proud of. Dynasties are won or lost by the fans and not the teams that have a declaration for them.

I never liked Dynasty, sure Alexis and Kryslte would have a great bimbo sandwich but I never was much for the TV dramas. I was more into The A-Team, Maverick and MacGyver.

I was working on a team name that would involve that same theme, but then wrote off the idea considering the age of most here on this site. Still, well played for going there.

I'd say they're close: S2 champ, S3 ?, S4 champ, S5 champ. If they make it back to the championship game or repeat in season 6 then they'd be a definite dynasty.

The Nites are a dynasty: S2 champ, S3 champ, S4 champ, S5 lost in championship game.

Well yeah, you have to define what a dynasty is, how many years + championships. Personally, making the championship game doesn't make a dynasty, winning it does.

The Bills made 4 in the 90's and lost 4 in a row...if they're considered a dynasty, it isn't what they'd like it to mean

I'd say, without scouring GLB, the Benitos with 4 PRO championships are the bar in terms of a dynasty. And I'm not a huge fan of S.A. as a region -- not my style -- but the Benitos are very, very good and very well run, and have the hardware at the top level of their region to show for it.

Nites with 1 AAA + 2 PRO trophies are close. Yetis have the same thing.

Mean Machine with 1 AA + 1 AAA + 1 PRO are a step back, in my opinion, of the Nites.

And I'm sure there are other teams out there with lots of championships -- if there is a better bar to try and surpass than the Benitos right now, not sure what it is.

Benitos, Nites qualify. Don't know if anyone else in GLB does. I thought the Bangkok Seaman might get there, but they've fallen short...

I think if they run the table again next season they are definitely in the convo. Regardless, they are one of the best teams in all of glb.
