I'd like to welcome all the new teams to AA1... Especially my old buddies from A2, the Fire, the Harbourmasters, the Lions, the Hammers, and the Breakers...

It's to bad some of you got moved over to the Zeta, but still good to see you here...

I hate to say it but the new realignment is complete garbage. On paper it looks like ZETA is very tough and don't take this wrong but I understand teams can win with good builds being 4 or 5 levels behind but what is up with a completely gutted team coming to the league?

I see Italian moved up along with Inverness. O well, good luck all in this season. It should come down to the following teams going to the playoffs in Zeta and in no particular order.

Birmingham
Brighton
Stockholm
Dublin
Dallas
Stockholm
Dungannon
Tilburg

The rest of the teams won't be competitive looking at their rosters as that is just my opinion and not meant as disrespect just it is complete garbage. I am going to have to look at WE AAA#1 to see what it looks like.

WEAA#1, we hardly knew ye.

Truth be told, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to win our way up. But I'm not disappointed to be dropping Birmingham, Dallas, Dublin, and Dungannon from our schedule.

I am not that upset about Italian moving up as you did make it to the Zeta Championship game I am just disappointed that the quality of teams that came to the league appear to be quality on paper but look like garbage when you look at their rosters. It is because of the competition they had in A which I understand as too many teams moved out of AAA because of cpu owned teams. I am sure AAA and Pro look a lot better now.

Actually, we're Edinburgh, not Italian

Although Italian is now in WEAAA#1 Alpha. Didn't know they'd do that.

There are still one or two mostly gutted teams in AAA#1 as well. I thought they'd move those all the way to the bottom of the pyramid and promote accordingly.

Hey Black Knights, good to see you ag... OK then, nice almost seeing you guys again. Congrats on advancing. Good thing we brought Schiffertown along with us to keep us company.

Hopefully we prove to be better than "garbage when you look at our rosters" -- going 20-0 took some work and ought to count for something. We might not operate within a syndicate and our sense of loyalty to the guys we have a history with might cost us a level or two at some positions, but I promise we'll give you all a good game.

Notice that I put your team as the only team to be competitive that got promoted? Yours is the only team that I see having a shot at not just making the playoffs but going deep in the playoffs. Berlin Ballers have proven that you can have a team with lower level players and advancing as they not only took Season 4 WE AA#1 championship they took Season 5 WE AAA#1 Championship and are in the Pros.

I knew that. *lol* Yeah I don't know how they ended up in Alpha. Interesting.

Well that was a bit of a surprise, I didnt expect so many changes at our level but what the hell you can only beat whats put in front of you.

My mistake, I must have picked up the thread mid-way down where I saw driftin's familiar avatar -- regardless, I'd be careful counting anyone out yet -- I'll actually acknowledge we don't look great on paper compared to some of our competition last season -- I was pretty intimidated by the look of the roster of the team we beat in the league final, but a combination of some things that aren't apparent when comparing rosters let us win in romp.
