Well, As per Bort's message, if you made the 2nd round of the play-offs there is a chance you will get promoted, so next season will look a lot different,
Good Luck to all the teams we lose this year.

I am guessing based on stats as of now Western Europe has the least amount of CPU teams above A. Overall the least as well. I think both Grim and Antwerp will get promoted for sure and then it is a wait and see for Transylvania, London, Valencia, and Vatican City. Everyone else is a guarantee to stay here.

It appears the scrimmage victories over the Angels and Bats got the Tommies promoted. I haven't had time to go back and examine Bort's specific promotion criteria I didn't think we'd make it.

We'll miss the slugfests with BCB, competing vs Jason Coker, Blackout's predictions and the rest of the Alpha crew.

It has been fun being here fellas and I am sure we will see you guys again.

Grim has found a new set of teams that need to fear the Reaper.

Its been fun for us also. It sucks that London got moved to Zeta but we still have 3 strong Alpha teams together. We also look forward to seeing more next season.

Back in Season-3, who'da thunk the Tommies would get kicked upstairs to AA#4 before Transylvania? Tremendous kudos to the Tommies organization for the great strides they've made since that 1st disastrous season and to think they did it without bringing in a boat-load of FA's is absolutely mind-blowing! I agree that it's too bad London got assigned to Zeta, as we'd love to have continued that rivalry....

....but somebody from WEA7A has to kick AA4Z ass, so I'm sure they'll be opening some eyes over there, just the way they did in WEA7A this season. Grats guys!

Thanks Rebel. It appears it came down to a bit of luck with so many teams sold above us generating opportunities to move up, and beating both Zeta 2nd round runners-up in scrimmages. Those scrimmages turned out to be sort of consolation playoffs. We're on our 3rd OC in 3 seasons and he (WizardofWar) put together a brand new offense for both the Zeta games. So he gets most of the credit. We just got by the Bats but soundly beat the Angels. I had hoped the Bloodsuckers would pull out their inter-conference games but no dice. I wonder if, like us at the time, Jason & Co was not truly aware of the implications of those "scrimmages".

Outside of Dingo McLovin', the A7 Alpha individual defensive player we fear the most is LB Bobby Steel - forced fumbles, interceptions, sacks, the guy is a monster vs the Tommies. Hopefully somehow we'll be able to see him across the line of scrimmage before xmas and even the score

I can't lie. I'm not at all unhappy to still be here. Like I've said before I don't want to be promoted without a trophy and season 6 look out for the nightwalkers in Transylvania. Congrats to everyone who was promoted and remember to keep the seat warm b/c we'll be there soon...

Valencia did not want to be promoted either without a trophy and we too are glad to still be here and plan to wreak havoc on WE A7 Zeta! I had no idea the scrimmages would play a role in advancement. To be honest we were testing some defensive stuff out for future use and did not even think the game meant much other than honor points. Anyways, good luck to all WE A7 teams whether Zeta or Alpha that advanced.

Well if you are promoted next season it will be without a trophy as well, because this year the Oklahoma Outlaws will win it all!!!!!!
