I was trying to make sense of what we've been told about the new promotion system where CPU teams are dropped to the bottom of the pyramid.

If my assumptions about how this would work are correct, A #4 could get as many as two additional promotions, but they might not get any. If we get just one additional promotion, the team will be the winner between the Thunder Bay Bloodhounds and the Edmonton Moose in the game later today (so that could prove pretty important). Since it looks like AA #2 will need at least one additional team regardless, the winner of that matchup will be compared against the similar team in A #3 to fill that spot at the very least.

well it could be more, considering Canada AA2 has 1 cpu well Canada AAA1 has 2 cpu teams so some from canda aa2 may move up from that that makes more need for canada a2, then on top canda pro has 3 cpus team. so it could happen both the moose and bloodhounds move up.

Also need to keep in mind any teams that have expiring ownership come day 40. There is always a good amount of turnover from that.

LMAO I have handed defensive co-ordination to my scout who's never done it before and I am just putting out a base offensive gameplan.

It will be more than one moving up probably, as garner says, teams will have to go from AA up to the next level and their spots will have to be filled by teams from A. Plsu we don't know who's been "flagged" so it's possible that the teams going 0-16 could all be moved down too.

LOL!! We haven't done any gameplanning either and it is a little too late for that now. We just threw in some old one from earlier in the season. However, I agree that we will get more than 1 additional move up. So I don't think it will matter.

It is true that I didn't look at what teams may disappear at year end so that would surely improve the odds of more promotions. That said, my reasoning was based on:

Pro has three CPU teams, none of which will be replaced by normal promotion. Thus, they need three more teams, meaning 1 - 2 from each of AAA #1 and AAA #2.

AAA #1 has two CPU teams, but one of them will be replaced by normal promotion. Adding the 1-2 teams needed in Pro means that AAA #1 will need to replace 2 - 3 more teams, meaning 1 - 2 from each of AA #1 and AA #2.

AA #2 has only one CPU team, and it will be replaced by normal promotion. They will need to replace the 1 - 2 additional teams needed in AAA #1, and they also might have to replace the CPU team that would normally be demoted from AAA #1 (if the odd human team goes to AA #1). That is 1 - 3 teams needed, meaning 0 - 2 from each of A #3 and A #4.

Maybe I'm wrong based on Naboimp's post.

I think the Hood deserve to get promoted after Thunderbay
Thunderbay beat us twice so we have nothing on them but I believe we are the next best team after them. We beat 2 very good teams from the east.

Edmonton might get that nod I think. However, you have a very legit argument over the other Easterns.

Not taking anything away from you....

But who the hell cares about scrimmage games? Honestly, i think less than 2% of GLB actually gameplans and cares about them....

The tiebreaker for promotion cares about them. Cares about them a lot in fact.
