The game was closer than I expected, as our running game was slightly more effective than I had thought. I'm a little disappointed that we weren't able to take advantage of your defense against the strong I more than we were (it forced us to ditch our best offensive play, but I hoped that we'd be able to run more passes out of that set as it was our only real chance to win), but you guys are better and, more importantly, deeper than we are and that ended up costing us (especially on the o-line) in the second half.

Anyway, you guys have a great team, and I'd love to play a friendly against you next season when the offensive options change a bit.

yeah, that was a great game and very exciting. Whomever said the under was right as both defenses came to play. Good luck to you next season in AAA and I'd be glad to play a scrimmage (we may even have a scheduled one early in the season since we both are moving up).

Your offensive and defensive lines are frighteningly good and deep. We have always stressed strength of depth, and it has served us pretty well, but you guys have taken it to another level that's very impressive.

Absolutely, the Idols could bench all their starters and still have a team capable of beating anyone in AA4 (well, assuming they found a QB from somewhere!) and I was chuffed that we pushed them so close. That Int TD when we'd driven into FG range down 10-7 killed us though. No way back against you from then on.

Yeah, the two biggest players were the Singapore stuff on us at 4th and goal from the 2 early on and the pick 6 later in the game. We both had a real strong defense, though, so it doesn't surprise me that each made big plays.
