It looks like the Horde and Demons will be moving up as well.

someone else may be moving up as well as there is a CPU owned team in the PRO's that is not one of the bottom 2 in both Alpha and Zeta
so its hard to say until relegation actually happens but it looks like some of these friendly rivalries may continue on next season in AAA

Here's what I have interpreted as the pecking order for advancement:
1. Flames
2. Garudas
3. Blue Demons
4. Horde
5. Riders
6. Addiction
7. Toys
8. Mountain Men
I think at least five will move up (2 automatic & 3 CPUs), but there may be even more if others above us are sold and Bort follows through with the talk of moving down underleveled teams from AAA and PRO. Will have to wait and see I guess.

Horde wins head to head matchup, as horde won the game by 3 TDS

It's really hard to tell who will get promoted really. Because in Pro, both AAA1 and AAA2 promote to it. And for each of those both of the AAs below it promote into the AAAs.

well i think one extra team goes up from Alpha AA#1 and AA#2 because there are 2 CPU and 2 Lowest rank teams (4 total)
so that would allow the horde to go up based on playoff wins as well as the team that lost the conference championship in AA#2 if i have read everything correctly
after that it is harder to tell who goes up

The who isn't hard to figure, it's the how many that's unknown.

are they seriously counting the scrimmage games for this?
if i'd have known that i'd have maybe at least attempted to gameplan this last game.

no scrimmage games dont count but horde is more likely to go up anyway because of CPU teams in AAA Alpha but not in zeta, but none of us really know whats going to happen anyway
we only have to wait a few more days to find out though

Scrimmage games do count as for as ranking for advancement. It's the next tie-breaker after # of playoff games:
1. Number of playoff victories
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
3. Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
4. Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
5. Avg playoff game points differential
I agree with FondestMemory that it's kind of bogus. Not only the gameplanning issue, but also roster moves that would not have been done if these game "counted."
