I only managed to play in the last reg season game. My first concern is that with players declining after 10 seasons, that this season might be seen as a waste since I missed the whole season. The good news is that I can start next season as lvl 2(lvl 5 if I boost even though I won't be as strong as players of equal level) vs lvl 1 if I restart.

My second concern is that my strength and blocking are kind of low. Should I try to roll higher? I rolled something like a 21 STR on my NT and it's really paid dividend since I capped it at lvl 3. Seems like intense training is the consenus, so if I train STR and BLK on intense, how soon can I get them both capped?

Stats don't start to decline until your player has played 10 FULL seasons. That means your player won't start to decline until season 15 day 32. Nobody knows how quick the decline will be yet, but it probably isn't going to be anything too drastic over 7 or 8 days.

The thing is that is your players peak. The decline after that is where you can't train fast enough to prevent your skills from sliding. Some people think you could get an extra two seasons out of a player by dropping down in leagues.

An OT is not a C. You need to work strength, agility, and blocking. Your primary concern is DEs not NTs.

Blocking to 3:1. Strength to 3:1. agility to 2:1 ASAP. Then 4:1, 4:1, 3:1. Then work to get protect SA up.

A C can get there faster, but you can't get protect SA unless you get advanced equipment that has it.

Unless you invested in Custom Equipment, you have no penalties for retiring him and starting over.

If you are concerned about messing up, then just start over Season 6 Day 0. You'll have the knowledge of what you know now and a clean slate. You'll also get several training days in the beginning of the season before you ever play a game.

Keep reading the forums and glbwiki.com to learn more. Get a good roll and start fresh!

PS - Not recommended to boost at such an early level. You gain a lot of experience at low levels. Boost at the end of Season 6 for maximum gains.
