games could still be watched exactly as they are now - and after the 'party' (if one was set up/purchased by the owner) - the game could be watched exactly as it is now.



i agree - in the standard blow out games - not particularly exciting - though there are normally plenty of big plays to watch in those.

there are normally big plays, but IMO, they are boring too watch. I would rather watch a good close game. I can just watch replays of the big plays and be fine

It would really take GLB to the next level if they were to add something like this.
I do miss the old days of watching the game unfold.

I still do watch all playoff games this way, but it would be alot more fun if I could chat with my teammates.

I really miss watching the games live, it was much more exciting that way as i dont have the will power to not look at the final score straight away these days. Fantastic ideas Steve, hopefully they'll come true!

this is a good idea, but I feel it can wait until the game becomes more put together as it stands it's missing some pieces still, but this would be cool if it came with a team forum when you purchased your team

I agree it would be fun to do. Right now, my team gathers in our chat room on our website, and watches the game. We pause it at possession changes to let everyone catch up. But big plays are always ruined by a "Damnit Marquette! Cut right!" or by "YES PICK SIX!" when you aren't there yet. LOL

Putting the replay in an interface where ONE person has control would be great. A few ideas to add to this concept to make it smoother and better graphically.

1. Instead of the standard replay screen we need to use one like the grease monkey add on, so each person's players are highlighted (if that is possible in a group setting), and so that the stats accumulate under the player name as the game progresses.

2. Since some cpu's run faster than others, the person "in charge" of the room should be able to advance the plays manually, just to make sure no one gets behind, or misses plays due to slow loading time.

3. You COULD make this option a "team upgrade" of some sort. Call it a film room if you will, that teams could add flex points (to help offset the cost of setting this up). Would just give free agents one more thing to consider when choosing a team.


All in all I love the idea of synchronizing this in a group setting instead of using the approach we use now.

Good idea, one aspect I liked about Court Rivals was the chat during the games and it would translate well to this game.

I love this idea! I think it should be a situation where the game unfolds live an hour or two before the stats are posted.
