And here you were startin to improve GL with slowbuilding, I took one of the worst teams in GLB and started slowbuilding them, and progress is brutal.

out of curiosity, what is the benefit to slow building? I have not been a part of a team like that, so I'm not really sure about the intricacies

Well the pros are you usually know everyone on the team personally. Everyone is always active and sets tactics, apart from that your chemistry is always perfect, don't have to worry about over paying in free agency. There are a lot less headaches you have to worry about. Unfortunately there are some cons. Could be pricey is u make a lot of players and at the beginning it is horrible. Getting your ass handed to you. Good thing for me is we already have been doing that for some time so its not a big deal. LOL

Good luck to everyone and see you guys soon

I guess slow building works if you really have a strong comittment from everyone that they will stick it out. It would suck to suffer through a couple bad years and then have peopel jump ship right when you have a chance to be competitive

Slow building creates more points for your players. instead of putting points in as you go, you train your main attribute while it's low and then softcap it when you have enough points. It creates about 3-5 extra points per attribute you softcap doing it this way instead of spending it all at once when you get them.
