Great game, Rip and crew. It was much closer than the final score indicated (early on, it looked like you were going to crush us).

As I wrote before the playoffs started, the top 4 teams in Zeta (actually, the top 5) were very evenly matched, and we consider ourselves very, very lucky to have managed to win the title.

Bollocks to that, we've topped the regular season table 3 years in a row, and now have got our tactics right.

Big game against Lost City, but we're big game playas. Zeke Montana is anyhow.

We topped the regular season table in the past because we boosted early and other teams boosted late (at a point in time when that sort of thing really mattered). I think if we played a round-robin tournament with the other top teams in Zeta right now, we'd win it no more often than the other teams (or maybe only slightly more often). So much of this game is luck when evenly matched teams play.

Frankly, whether we get past Lost City or not really doesn't matter much as it's a glorified scrimmage (of course, as a member of Stucknut, I do understand why you put so much emphasis on scrimmages. . .Stucknut: King of the Meaningless Game).

We'd love to beat them, but winning our conference and earning promotion have always been our (and, I'm fairly certain, every team's) primary goal.

We're going to tear them a new a-hole.*

Despite all this, I am sure we will once again under-represent on the Pro-Bowl team. Our Defense has been great of late, but no one player really dominates the numbers. Mostly because we aren't on the field for many plays - just doing the job.

I've got 60/40 on the Idols.

Yeah, much as I support my boss, the conference game was for us, but this game is for Zeta. Represent!
