Duh...

Ok here is where it gets tricky. Although I am still stunned by our loss to Stockholm today. Kudos to Blutoski however unfortunately I don't see them advancing. I do however see some major upsets in Round 2, especially in Alpha.

Here are my predictions:

Alpha:

Boston defeats Bonn in OT

Eurotrash defeats Manchester by 10

Zeta:

Edinburgh defeats Stockholm by 14

Italian defeats Inverness by 1

i don't see our season being bracketed by 1 loss games to Italian......

regardless, good luck Italian, should be a good rematch

Blasphemous! Seriously though, it could certainly happen. Boston came closest to beating us this season. We had a closer score vs Euro, but we had to come back in the 4th to beat Boston. Also, Bonn has never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Another thing to note in Alpha is that both 2nd round games are essentially promotion games if I'm correctly understanding Bort's new system. There is a CPU team in WEAAA1 Alpha so that means two teams will be promoted from our Alpha. Or do you guys think they would look to both Alpha and Zeta to fill that spot? Of course I guess it could be filled by a WEAA2 team as well, but I think it would default to our league since league 1, who knows I guess, but I think it's a distinct possibility that 2 Alphas will be promoted.

I've got to go with Bonn over Boston and I don't think it will be as close as their first meeting. Also taking Euro over Manchester in what should be tight game.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I know we will do our best but Bonn is the best team in our conference and if we were to pull it out it would be a HUGE upset.

One number 1 has already been knocked off why not both of them.

Bonn will squeak out a win, I hope.

Lets hope not i really dont want to see them in the championship game.
