Welcome to all the playoff teams from Zeta. Another interesting season and hats off to all that made the end of season bracketfest. Here are my predictions to start off the big dance with a mascot flavor.


Tallinn Metsavennad -vs- Gdansk Piranhas
From my understanding a Metsavennad is an indigenous resistance person of some sort. Barring any drunken stumble and falling in the water to get his butt eaten, I'll take a sober human with a gun over a piranha. Like shooting fish in a barrel, or river, or wherever there are piranhas in eastern europe.


Latvia Doom -vs- New York Scandalous
Overall I think a scandal would be easier to overcome than impending doom as I think doom is pretty much an end all situation. So with pun intended I predict the Scandalous to meet their Doom.


Kazan Bears -vs- Mediterranean Mayhem
Not sure exactly what a Mayhem is aside from a bunch of stuff going awry. From their logo I think the Bears are the grizzly type that like clawing people in the junk and not the passive leaf eating pandas. But still if I had to pick, I predict something going wrong, a mayhem'ic fire sprouting up and burning down the damn forest with the bears in it.


Krakow Cheetahs -vs- Crimea Sea Dragons
C'mon now, a dragon can easily beat up a cheetah .

My Predictions:

Tallinn VS Gdansk

Gdansk to win in a blow out

Latvia VS New York

Close game with the slight edge going to Latvia due to their defense.

Bears VS Mayhem

A repeat of their last meeting. A Blow out victory for Mayhem.

Cheetahs VS Sea Dragons

I think this one is going to be a surprise game. I think everyone expects the Sea Dragons to blow out the Cheetahs. I think you'll be surprised when it's going to be a close game. Slight edge to the Dragons but I am going with this to be my upset game. I say the Cheetahs to win by 3 in OT.

Hehe, my predictions were not serious. Just lightening things up with a who's mascot would win in a fight match .

hehe Well screw it. the predictions for me are the same for both mascots and the games

So far 3 right for me. We didn't win in a blow out but it was a good difference.

3 out of 4 isn't bad.

Pretty accurate predictions, Seric. However, I wish our game had ended up like the mascot prediction instead.
