OPL is also now considered the 2nd best league for teams 1-8 in each league.... still a USA Pro bias there obviously.

The thing is USA Pro has us way over leved.
We stay competitive because of our quality builds, tactics/strategies and scouting.

Wow that's crazy, we were ranked like 23rd just a week or so ago. I think West Scranton has been more impressive as of late, however.

When there are 10-6 and 9-7 teams on that list. Granted, some are in USA Pro, but I have a problem that they only list one team from Oceania AAA, the Samoa Gangsters. There are Oceania AAA teams (mine excluded) that I'd put money on being able to beat most of the teams in the 75-100 range.

That list is more about which teams have time to compete in friendly tournaments.

For what its worth, I did post in the thread and mention Samoa. We played some friendlies outside of the league this year but didn't participate in any tournament whatsoever. I know Fakaofo should be on there, but I don't know much outside of AAA #1

And we'll see if you can beat us when we're both (hopefully) in O-Pro next season.

I wouldn't go that far, IC (my team) has only played one friendly scrimmage this season (not against a team on that list either) yet we made the list.... and we didn't even submit ourselves for it.

Another team submitted themselves for consideration (a team that beat 2 really good teams that are on the list, yet we handed their worst loss of the season on top of beating the 'Nites who are on the list as well) and we got noticed when steelersinsider started researching that team.

We got lucky in that respect I guess.

Scranton has done very well in scrimmages, but based on league play I think Tonga definitely has to be ranked above Scranton.
