But when a QB's 2nd worst game of the season is THIS :
32 of 57 for 352 yards 4 TDs, 3 INTs

You know that QB has had a SICK, SICK year.

I'm very happy that our starter had a 122+ QB rating this season. I think that's the highest in TxR history by far.

I'd love to see what our passing game could do if we threw it 50+ times/game but then there would be two HBs about to burn my house down

I second that. I can't imagine throwing 50+ times a game.

Bret only avg'd about 38 attempts a game.

The thing that sets Bret apart is that by doubling his attempts from 306 in Season 4 to 606 in Season 5 he nearly doubled his passer rating (75.9 - 125.7) more than tripled his yardage (1637 - 5488) and more than 9 times doubled his TDs (8 - 76) while keeping his Ints to a measly 9 (up from 6 in S4).

BY FAR the best single season effort in Canton's history and BY FAR the most improved single season individual turnaround by anyone in this league.

Only to be nearly out done by his #1 WR who improved from:
S4: 63 Rec. 578.5 yards, 2 TD (15 Drops)

to

S5: 86 Rec. 1704.5 yards, 30 TD (10 Drops)

Well its not like there's much of a running game to plan for

I tried to make a run for the title, but no can do . I did have my best season yet, though.
