So, let's say you've got STR, BLK taken care of. You've got AGI to the soft cap and STA up in the mid 30's and a decent amount of Line General.

Where do you go from there? How much speed does a C need? How much vision? confidence? When would you start investing heavily on Line General (when it is costing +4/point)

Just wondering what you do when all the "obvious" paths have been completed.

Soft capping confidence has a bit of support on here recently. Although it still has its detractors.

If you're spending 3:1 on str and blk you can spend 4:1 and 5:1 on line gen, surely?

*chuckles*

I said ADVANCED. I've long left the +3 for STR/BLK behind. I think it's +6/+5 now. I guess by comparison +4 for LG doesn't seem so bad. I do need work on CONF/VIS, but can probably daily train those up.

How much do you guys like on C's once they get into their 30's?

Of course, I figured you were through the 3:1 phase based on your comments in another thread! I used spending in the present tense as in 'through the lifetime of the build'.

Did you spend 4:1 in str/blk also or just let it naturally level?

Another thing I've been toying with, since Bort produced equipment with a +% chance to things happening, or abilities: I've had the nagging doubt that possibly the Pass/Run Block SAs simply give a +% gain to attributes, as their descriptions are so general. Now if this was 1%, then with Str and Blk at 100 (say), each point in these SAs would increase these attributes by a whole skill point depending if you were passing or blocking.

If I am correct with my hunch, then it will be worth eventually spending 4:1 and even 5:1 on these SAs. The other SAs seem very specific to certain situations, but the first two seem so general that they have to give a +?% chance to something and might well be more important than is assumed.

I'm going to have Pass Block at 7 and Run Block at 6 by the start of the next season, and will see if I manage to mess up less often!

I've got the same "problem". I'm at 1:5 in str/blk, vision and agi almost softcapped, and not quite sure where to go from here.. Stamina and conf. are mid 30s....

I just might spend my future points in str/blk until it hits 1:7 or 1:8

I'm a firm believer in pass block/run block too. There comes a point when the added blocking value from those SAs is better than the added value of a point on your stats (based on cost), and it is something many people overlook. A "slight bonus" on run plays and block plays equates to a "slight bonus" always... and spending 3:1 there is chump change when your C has 90 blocking.

That said, don't put points in vis/conf, stam/spd until they're over 30. Get max training from them. Personally, I'd train vis/conf and cap them both, work on SAs, and train spd/stamina after that

I beleive what you say - you appear v. clued up.

I saw your trick about delaying training to carry 7 bonus tokens across to the next season. So blindingly obvious, and a great tip. I can't believe nobody else picked up on it in that thread and are still clamouring for the 5 limit to be raised.

Well... Many people just use the 16 tokens to upgrade a cheap adv. equipment item... That way use can save all your bonus tokens until you need them later on...

If thats what you were talking about..

I quote him on this page of the complaining thread. His original post was page 2 or something. I was amazed that nobody else picked up on it.

If you have 16 all stored up in equip that is obviously better, but for me it took a while to find the advanced equipment I needed so I can only gain 15 tokens this season. I have 8 in equip and was considering only training 5 more times and then shopping again, but I'd forgotton I could carry across up to 14 training points also.

Ahh okay... thanks for posting the link...

Guess I'm just lucky to make it to the sweet 16 (not that it matters much when you can carry 7 tokens over...).

Yeah it's good to find some equip so quickly.

For me 16 vs 15 tokens is better than 16 vs 13, so I am happy also

I just paid +3 for them and then let them level naturally from there. Though, I think I had them done fairly early. Maybe L21 (give or take), can't recall exactly.

That's an interesting theory on the Pass/Run block SA's. It sounds from others that I may need more Vision, haven't done much with that but will train it up first. I know I do need to start hitting the SA's sooner or later.

Is there any benefit to taking Agility to 60. I know a lot of DT/NTs are running around out there with 70+ agi.

For me, I am at the point where I am unsure about whether I want to spend SP in vision to take it from 36 up to 48, or if they would be better put into agility to raise it from 50 to 56.

I know DTs run around with 70+ agility, but I hope to counter that mainly with 70+ blocking.

I am still unsure, so will hit the SAs this offseason, and wait one more season before having to choose between 2 X agi and 1 X vis.

Congrats on passing the 3:1 limit so soon, you must have a great build.
