Yeah, I'm 48 hours early but I don't care - HUGE week for a few teams who are battling for playoff position.

While there's still some shuffling that could happen in top 7 of each conference (home field is not set for either conference right now - big tie up in Zeta for #4 and a couple Alpha teams tied for 4th spot), playoff lives are at stake for the 8 seeds.

Palermo & North Yorkshire TIED in week 15 and now have identical records and just total pts separating them for #8 spot in Zeta. Palermo's averaging 16 pts a game more than North Yorkshire so the Yorkies need a win against San Marino (very possible) and a Palermo loss to the 13-2 John Deere Tractors... Chiefs/North Yorkshire first round matchup looks VERY possible.

London Death Monkeys and West Palm are both 8-7 with London holding the head to head tiebreaker but playing the #1 Chiefs while West Palm gets the dangerous Naples Assassins.

More drama than TNT can give you here

You forgot about the other team from London, they could also go 8-8. However, what matters most will be the direct competition and in the end it's quite likely that the Hurricanes will be out because of the first game they played this year.

Assuming - for sake of argument - Monkeys lose and fall to 8-8 and Underground win to go 8-8, Monkeys won head-to-head so Underground are already eliminated.

West Palm needs to beat Naples Assassins (Naples won 21-17 in a preseason scrim) and have Monkeys lose to Chiefs to make playoffs as 8 seed and get some Jumbotron revenue

Crap. Do we lose on the head to head with the death monkeys if we both go 8-8?

Dang. I knew i really wanted to tin that game! We'd have been talking about the playoffs right now if we had!

Still. Im happy. First year and all. Next season should be a real push.

Good luck Death Monkeys if thats the case. Keeping London on top of things!

I knew that but I still found it something worthwhile to mention. After all, this team has had a rough start and they deserve some credit.

Yeah this last game is going to be a killer. So many games we have lost this year by a score or less as well. Will be interesting to see how this comes out on Tuesday.

Been a fun season, even if we get through we still have to play the Huskies so I doubt there's much chance if things progressing past the first round.

I must admit I'll be rooting for the Moneys and I guess the other playoff teams will do the same. That would be a monumental upset.

Well, if we take the Huskies out, then looking at things it could be anyones.

But as people have said, it would be a huge upset.
