For the second year in a row the Walleye play the #1 team for our out of conference game. We are in a tie with Toronto for the last playoff spot and they play the last place Preachers that are now CPU owned. Not taking anything away from Toronto, they have a good team and had a solid season, but we beat them a couple games ago. Sorry about the whining, but I needed to vent.
Forum > Canadian A Leagues > Canadian A #3 > Playing a team from the other conference could screw us.
I totally understand. I personally think you should only play the teams in your division that way nothing like this would happen. I think a 15 game Season would be sufficient and not allow this type of discrepancy or unfair advantage!!!!

its just scheduling, happens in the NFL too. This system is closest to being fair than anything else out there.

Like I said, 15 game Season solves the problem. It's a easy fix!!!!
Then again we get to play Twin Peaks which is always a fun game, so I guess it's how u look at things...

Why do we need 16 games? Or make the team selection based on record. You could play the team in the same position as yours in the other conference. At least the NFL bases your opponent on last year's record in certain cases.

I hope you guys can come together and still keep the teams. You guys are awesome. Both of you have built great teams and they are both very competitive. It'd suck to lose ya tbh.

I think Bort wants 16 because the NFL has 16 and this is a "sim" of it. I do think you are matched up from the same seed from the playoffs from the other division.

It's not looking good for my team staying in this League actually. If I leave all my players will be leaving also so it would be all CPU players which will probably be dropped when the realignment takes place. I may own a team again, but I need a break for one or two Season's and even then it would have to be with dedicated agents for the most part.
