Like when u reach 40 it starts to cost 2 points

When u reach 50 it should cost like 4 points

When you reach 60 it should cost like 5 points


Or somthing like that...this way it will be ALOT harder to specilize in just one talent



bort and i think we have this planned out pretty well. lets wait and see how it does before making it even harder.

ya but you always have training and other stuff to try to get it up...as well as equipment


and im assuming there will be some type of boost system as well with cyberdunk? maybe to allow u to buy say 200 flex points or w.e ...and it costs 10 flex points per attribute?

(with including the whole 2 poitns at a certain level and 3 and so on)


+ equipment will be there to allow u to get it to over 90

Training and Spending Skill points are both included in the exponential curve.

Skill in the 90's is just an example, but Skills will definitely be harder to raise the higher they get.

There will be a flex point to skill point conversion option. We just haven't decided how much you will be able to do yet.

Great Guide!

Any chance of finding how how Special Abilities compare to actually raising stats?

For instance, WRs have the SA Route Run which says it boosts Speed and Agility while running routes. But do things like that add a temp +1 or +2 per level or is it like +10 per level?

Maybe this is something you want to let people discover over time, but it's just not something I think I'll figure out on my own

I'll just say this about special abilities:

They can give you a sizable situational bonus (certainly quite a bit more than a simple +1 to an attribute might) when they work successfully, but you won't pull them off successfully every time. You can increase the chances of them working by raising their levels.

The actual amount they help you is up to you to discover. The description popups should give you a pretty good idea of what they do, though, so you're not totally blind.

Yeah just look at my FB's YPC last game to see how some of the bonuses work. I broke/avoided quite a few tackles because I jacked up one of my special skills.

Thanks, Bort. It may sound weird, but I'm not the guy who's going to go out there and spade out what everything does, I'm more of the guy who will try to come up with the best combo to put those things together after I know what they do.
