Anyone know exactly how these are determined? I only ask because the #2 - #4 teams in Zeta (all 12-2)seem to be messed up;

Singapore Flames beat San Fran Gold Rush, but Gold Rush are ranked higher.

Sault Ste Marie Metalheads beat Singapore Flames, but Flames are ranked higher.

San Fran Gold Rush did beat Sault Ste Marie Metalheads.

Just wondering how it is determined.

All 3 tied teams are 1-1 between them all, so I believe next is points scored.

Do you know why it isn't point differential? I think that would be a better way to determine it. Defense should account for something.

Say you have a three way tie (record) between the following teams:

Team A - 1,100 pts scored, 800 pts allowed.
Team B - 1,050 pts scored, 700 pts allowed.
Team C - 1,000 pts scored, 500 pts allowed.

I would say Team C is the best of the three, but they would be ranked as listed above. Team C's defense would be discounted with the current rules.

I have a question then, for the points scored; are the scrimmages in the preseason counted?

I have done the math for the three teams in question;

San Fran Gold Rush, Singapore Flames & Sault Ste Marie Metalheads.

Do the math yourself if you don't believe me, but I have checked it three times now.

Total Points Scored:

1st: Singapore Flames (1206 Pts)
2nd: San Fran Gold Rush (1173 Pts)
3rd: Sault Ste Marie Metalheads (719 Pts)

Total Points Allowed:

1st: Singapore Flames (124 Pts)
2nd: Sault Ste Marie Metalheads (163 Pts)
3rd: San Fran Gold Rush (176 Pts)

From this information, the #2 - #4 standings should be;

Singapore Flames
San Fran Gold Rush
Sault Ste Marie Metalheads

It has relevance to me in another league. I have one more question also. When tallying total points scored, in a game where a team scored over 255, do they get credit for the real score, or just the 255?

I think I read somewhere that the glitch is only in the scoreboard, but the real score is what count toward team stats. Can't find the thread to make sure, though.

Sort by points scored. Gold rush is first.
