Bort has posted the plans for dealing with sold teams and promotion next season. Here's the plan.

What do you guys think about that? Looks good to me, but I'm expecting to probably lose at least 2 or 3 teams this year to it.

I think it's a good plan. It has to happen. However, i still don't think he is really going after the bigger problem IMO, which is creating some level division between leagues. That being said, that would probably entail redoing all of GLB, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I think he should do it for the entire game, not just within leagues.

I still don't like the promotional ideas. I for one don't want a promotion unless I've earned it by winning my conference.

Yeah it is tough to move up without that sense of accomplishment. I feel it is a necessary fact this has to take place for the overall longterm improvement of competition in the leagues. For the most part we have been fortunate until recently on not seeing the problems directly in our league.

I agree but at the same time it's not as fun having so many damn gutted teams in the league. I look at it more as them relining and moving us back to how we were when we all first joined this league. Where we had a bunch of good close games and any team could beat any other team at a moments notice.

Personally i look forward to being in the league with the Belfast Mafia just to talk trash to people on a team I respect...

But don't take this too personal Zeta, but this season it has really been about 3 or 4 games for us, and the rest has been futile.

But getting promoted is what drives my team every season, we want this and it shouldn't become too easy.

Won't it put a lot of the non gutted teams from this league into the same league though? So its not that much of a change, just a few new faces and a few less "practice" games

yeah but having the gutted teams in the same league as each other atleast keeps games from being 200 to 0...
