yeah It is going to come down to scheduling. I think we may have shot ourselves in the foot by loosing to the Roadfrogs. What I don't understand is why Battle Creek and RU are both ahead of us in standings when we beat both teams.

Yeah we beat the Roos and the Canes and we're below them too. The standings are probably based off of your combined record of the teams that you're tied with and then on points scored? Not really sure. We shot ourselves in the foot by messing up our tactics against the DreamKillers. If you watch the play-by-play of the game you'll know what I'm talking about. We have 3 cupcakes to finish the season so we'll in all likelihood finish 10-6.

could be, mb - creech, I wouldn't worry about it, thanks to schedule, RU is going 10-6. Same with the 'roos.

Mostly everyone else already played Orlando and Cleveland so they already have W's for playing them. We got lucky when the CPU scheduled our OOC game to be against the Red Raiders.

If the teams have the same record it goes by h2h record (between the teams involved) and then score differential I think.

seems more likely that it's based on the quality of opponent beaten - anybody know the official word on this?

with so many teams with the same record, it's hard to go h2h...this team beat that team and that team beat this team and these teams beat those teams...if that makes any sense? LOL

It's based on the total number of wins over teams with the same record

according to GLBwiki

1. h2h with teams of same record
2. points scored
3. points allowed

All I know is we have to figrue out how to beat the unbeatable to have a shot. 9-7 with the early season losses we had likely won't cut it for us.

9-7 should make it in the east.

I think if you win 2 of 3, especially the Carolina game you'll be ok. Not sure how you fare in tie breakers with all them other 7-6 teams, but if you win 2 out of your last 3 than you did all you could.

I hate that points scored/allowed is considered in the rankings. Just means you try to run up the score against gutted teams as much as possible, instead of how real teams play.
