Ok Ladies and Gentleman, its time again for the Sharks/Moose Rivalry, For those that are new to Canada A4 let me go back in time to get you caught up on
these two teams.


In the first year of play in Canada A4 these two teams met and it was a thriller. The Moose had came out and dominated the first 3 quarters, early in the 4th the Moose kicked a field goal and made the game 27-15 Moose, with 13:16 on the clock. The Sharks then got the ball and marched it down to the Moose 3.5 yard line and on 4th and 1 went for it and picked up the first, then next play scored and made the game 22-27 for the Moose. After that each team battled
back and forth a couple drives. Then with 1:57 left on the clock the Sharks recieved the ball on thier own 21 yard line and marched it all the way down to the Moose 8 yard line and The Sharks had another 4th down, The sharks then converted it for a 1rst down and went on to score and take the lead 29-27 with 1:17 left on the clock. On the next kickoff the Moose had a great return all the way to the Sharks 30 yard line. Just needing to get a few more yards
to get into field goal range with 1:01 left, The Sharks Defense stood tall and did not allow them to gain a yard in 4 plays and the Sharks then killed the clock.The Sharks after giving up 352 yards for the game only 11 of them came in the forth quarter.

In thier second meeting the next season after the thriller they had the year before, no one was ready for the game that was about to happen. this one was a hard fought game all day the Sharks led after the 1rst quarter 10-3, No one scored in the second. So at halftime the score was 10-3 Sharks. Early in the 3rd The Moose found the endzone to tie it up at 10. with it being tied they went to the fourth quarter, The Sharks pulled off a FG to regain the lead.
The teams went back and forth till with about 5:34 left starting from thier own 16 the Moose put together one of the best drives of the game. They scored a touchdown and made the score 17-13 with 34 seconds left on the clock. After a decent return The Sharks had 28 seconds left and on thier own 45. The Sharks then went to work completeing 2 passes to move to the Moose 29 with 7 seconds left on the clock. The Sharks then made a completion about 6 yards down the field and the wr was surrounded, but some how he made it out from between the two defenders and with a great block, ran to the endzone to steal the win for the Sharks.

In thier 3rd meeting it was in the playoffs, The game was close till the 4th quarter with the Moose leadin 21-19, but in the 4th The Sharks took over and scored 13 unanswered points to win 32-21. not near as dramatic as the other 2 games.

As you can see in this series with these 2 teams playing it always comes down to the 4th quarter. This year should be no different, As I know The Moose want this game bad. you have the #2 team in the East vs the #4 in the East. You have 2 of the highest scoring offenses in the East playing each other and this should be a shootout.

Very interesting. I knew the games were interesting, didn't know they were that interesting.

I might have to do one of these for when the Spitfires / Bloodhounds game rolls around this weekend.

Fourth time lucky I bloody hope. If you're going to beat us at least have the decency to not leave it until the final few seconds eh?

we'll try to do better and have the game won before the 4th quarter.

Ahh one of my favourite match ups of the season.

I'm sorry for this game. I have to apologize to my team and to the Moose - You guys deserved a better game than this. I won't make any excuses. Recently I've missed something every game in the tactics and the team has unnecessarily suffered because of it. That's all.

Interesting result, I wasn't expecting it to be that high of a scoreline.

It was my fault. I missed something in the tactics. This has happened three times now, and I can't be trusted with coordinating the defense anymore.

Ah fuck, guess we will have to wait until the playoffs to get another shot at a real win against the Sharks.

Just want you all to know Quack is a hell of a DC and will miss his style. As for the game you played a great game and don't take anything away from it, As gameplanning is a very big part and you guys out gameplanned us. Hope we meet in playoffs.
