Its a battle for #2 seed and home games. I was just looking at the last 4 games coming up.
If the season ended today
1. Stuttgart
2. TGB
3. Newport
4. Helsinki
5. Warsaw Stampede
Stuttgart has nothing left to even keep them interested, they will get the #1 seed. The only trouble they could run into is becoming disinterested and forgetting to game plan in the playoffs.
TGB gets hammered, and has to play what has turned out to be 3 out of the other 4 top teams in the league. Current seeds 3-5. Warsaw, Newport, Helsinki and then the Scoregasm from the other league, That game could end up meaning quite alot on both sides.
Newport has to yet play Liverpool and us (TGB). They have won 10 in a row and should easily their other 2 games.
Warsaw also has a tough road. Has to play Liverpool and TGB and cant afford to lose. Then they could be playing the Grim Reapers for Home Field.
Helsinki is in good position. Only one threat in their last 4 games thats TGB. They've only lost to Stuttgart and Newport.
The battle will be for the #2 seed. It gives you the most chances for Stuttgart to lose a playoff game. And we know that happens sometimes, even to the best and loudest teams. I've seen it elsewhere and although I wasn't around last year, I'm assuming thats what happened here.
The other battle will be to keep Home Field. Alot of very big games coming in the top ranks.
Im not near motivated enough to get into the battles for a playoff spot. Theirs 13 teams still very much alive
