my center will be hitting 100 strength and high 70s blocking (softcapped agility and vision) by the start of the playoffs and I'm wondering what I should put points into next.

What are the best SAs (I play as a backup on a passing team)? I heard get low is a great one but it's on the run blocking tree.

Softcap confidence also?

Start to take agility to the 2nd softcap?

As for O line gen, the effect you give for pumping this SA is probably equivalent to a few extra points of confidence and stamina for those around you, so it is worth putting some SA's in, but I don't know if taking it up to 10 is that necessary.

Edit WTF he's a lvl 26?!!! That is some great building there. I have to ask - do you have any points at all in SAs? If not - your player could almost be perfectly built!

I have points from CE.

Like I said, hes never been a starter and probably only get ~28ish reps on offense with the rest on special teams so I can afford to build him carefully. I wouldn't say his build is perfect it was before you could reroll without a long process so he lost about 5 SP in those stats that should be all 7s.

I'm hoping that after I boost for the playoffs (he has 3x left and also 15 unspent SP) his blocking bar will be higher than the starting centers. Plus since his contract expires day 31 I'll be like "come on ol man get me more PT"... just kidding about that but it would be some fun drama.

Lol! Dude, think about it.

Best way to describe it:

A- Player that knows he can win
B- Players in quicksand.

Ill take A all day.

No, they just put that SA at the end of an otherwise useless tree for Centers for fun.

Lay this out for a person that does not always understand forum sarcasm and humor, O-Line Gen Good or Bad? What other SA's are actually worth my wild to put SP in?

Just to recap, avoid spending any SP into SA's until later 20's, if then? At that point, which SA would be recommend to place a few in compared to maxing?

I guess that depends.

Most people would recommend building towards Line General.

I will probably ignore line general on mine, and devote myself to SAs designed around run blocking. Likely, I'll wind up with something like 5,3,5,7,7. I really like the idea of pancaking high agility/medium strength NTs and cutblocking high strength/high agility NTs.

Using CE in run blocking and just throwing a few SP into pass SA may work then?

With my high strength O-Line guys I have found Shock Block works wonders. It is especially useful right now against those super high speed/agility DE's with my OT, and I would say allows me to get by with about 20 points less in agility than I would ideally like to have to stop them completely. With the trend of so many DT's starting to go agility based since bull rushing has been borted, this would put you ahead of the curve.
