You know with as crazy in love with Soccer teams as Europe is. I am suprised there are not more club names here in GLB for the European teams.

Guess there are not that many soccer fans here. Also most soccer club names are not "city name" "nickname" as in American football. So you can't have a team name like "Liverpool" or "Roma" in GLB. That kind of excludes most soccer fans.
For example, I support Chelsea. How could I call my team? Lefkada Chelsea? Doesn't work. Manchester United works as a name, but it's rare.

I don't know I guess it just depends on what league it is...For instance the German Bundesliga teams all seem to have city names in their team name. Liverpool would be a good one...Inter Milan....there's lots of teams that could.
But like I said it's just strange that there aren't a few soccer club names considering they call soccer over there football anyway

Chelski is in Eastern Europe isn't it? Now I support a good english club,although the good is debatable at the minute

That's not entirely true, a lot of them have prefixes.
FC Barcelona, etc.
So I think most work, Chelsea is actually an exception.

Like I had originally said I found it a bit on the odd side that there wasn't a few more club names here in GLB because I know there are fair amount of Europeans who plays
