Way back in season 3, we played our opening game in OAAA1 against a newly promoted team which no one knew much about in our league.

We were the league favorites, and the Mean Machine came out and made a statement in their AAA opener:

Mean Machine went on to an undefeated season. In the playoffs the two teams met again after a year of good natured and slightly inappropriate smack talk.

Tonga got their revenge, and went on to win the championship after breaking a winning streak that was one of the longest in GLB at the time.

Will this week be the week that Mean Machine pays back its playoff loss in season 3? Or will Tonga show that win was no fluke? No doubt the mental gears have been turning in both clubhouses in preparation for this game.

What do you all think? Who comes out victorious?

Should be a great game. Mean Machine by 7. That offense is just too good to stop.

We played both teams, and lost to both teams in a very similar manner ... temp-boosting on both sides, WSI leading at some point in the seond half, then giving up a string of unanswered points to lose in the end. My sense - though I couldn't say why - is Mean Machine in a shootout.

Mean Machine 48 - New England 27

Tonga 24 - East Coast 10
Mean Machine 24 - East Coast 10

Tonga 33 - West Scranton 17
Mean Machine 35 - West Scranton 17

Tonga 34-24. I'd like it if MM wins though because I'd use that game to gameplan for our final game

I like the Machine in this one, 20-26. It's going to be fun to see if the Machine can find enough time in the pocket to use all those WR's.

I think if MM can buy some time to throw....they will be victorious. They have to hold off that pass rush.

MM 23
TiTs 17

Good luck to both....another game that will be very exciting to watch.
