1. Newcastle - only two inter-conference games left where they’ll be challenged, especially Brussels W15.
2. Rome - have 3 tough ones left, particularly W15 when they head to West Yorkshire.
3. WYW - certainly back on track after impressive wins vs. Brussels & Danzig.
4. Danzig - beat Donegal in one helluva game but have tough tests the next two, then should coast.
5. Donegal - gave up a couple late TDs to Danzig; otherwise would be looking at a possible home playoff game. Have some tough games left.
6. Brussels - failed to capitalize on an uncharacteristically high number of WYW TOs but remains a very dangerous team now & in the playoffs.
7. AFD - got a big win against Plainview & the passing game has come alive, but staring two tough games in the face & like last year, a matchup with Donegal will be big.
8. Plainview - other than a W13 game with Newcastle, have the easiest road left to travel. Looking good for the playoffs, which I believe would be the first time in their history.
9. Portugal - if I recall correctly, this is the last hoorah for this group as the ownership expires. Sadly, they may come up just short of the playoffs, although they still have an outside chance.
10. Irish - lack of depth on D continues to hold this team back.
11. Mokum - another team with some depth issues & while they’ll probably end S5 with their best record since their inaugural year, questions abound as to their future.
12. Atom - may be facing strained financially but give them credit for fighting the good fight.
13. Cologne - whoa. Lots of inactives & CPUs makes for a bad team.
14. Trondheim - hey, props on the win against Rotterdam. Looks like that was some kind of game, too. Good chance they get their 2nd W tomorrow.
15. Rotterdam - a team I’ll be watching closely in future seasons, as they’ve got a nice amount of cash to work with this offseason.
16. Dublin - not that it matters, but have a LB handling their kicking. I think that’s pretty funny.
