Yeah, we had our share of turn overs alright.
This was the game changer: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=154831&pbp_id=6976336

1:48 3rd & 0.5 on OPP 33.5
Tony Perkis pass to Torry Hot over the middle intercepted by Ethan Mceuen [missed tackle: Rock Serafin], PAT made by Big Boot McGee [TD] (76 yd return)

The sim has us passing on 3rd and .5 on the opponents 33 with less than 2 mins left. lol WTF is that?

The HB and WR were also open in the flats on the right. How the heck did the FB miss that tackle? Wow. Very unlike Perkis here.

Sweden should have actually lost that. They got the 2 most lucky picks ive ever seen in the last few minutes of the game. 1 leading to the winning TD and 1 preventing the comeback TD pass for perkis. Just my opinion though.

I know I would be bummed if I were on Perkis and saw that though. Just the worst luck ever.

Yea, certainly not happy about this loss and how it happened. Sweden played well, but we should have never been passing on the pick 6 they got. 3rd and .5 with under 2 minutes and up by 1? We should have run there for sure.
Good game though Sweden

Nice game Perkis. I never doubt Josh's defense he always has little surprises for ya.

We've been in that situation before and have always run the ball, why in hell would it choose to pass??? Strange.

The sim makes strange decisions - when we lost to Belgian it had our defence in 43 zone on the goalline. NOT what's in my AI settings.

It happens. Just something we have to live with. Not to mention there may be a "Bonehead" factor on the calling...considering I just saw Miami completely ignore the possibility that Houston would run QB draw while I sat there thinking "4th and 2 to goal...game on the line...opponent expecting pass...why not go with QB draw here?"

This is what I found out:

Hi Billsman. I found the problem. It's the "Near FG range" input, which is telling the team to pass the ball in that situation. Here are the options for the sim to choose from, under that input:

33% long wr (pass)
33% te pass (pass)
34% Get within Range (pass)

Use this so you dont have this happen.

I guess someone else deserves to have a little luck. To win that many straight games, there had to have been a little luck on Perkis side every now and then.

That wasn't meant to downplay Perkis or their achievements, before anyone goes thinking it was intended that way. Just sayin.

Congrats on the long winning streak, it was pretty damn amazing and congrats to the Swedish Army for doing what many other teams have not been able to do.

I understand what you are saying, and we have had our fair share of good luck during our run. Sweden played a great game, and luck played a part, but that was a tight game throughout anyway.
I would have never expected to win 30 games in a row here, and to be in the position we are now is incredible considering we were just promoted this year.
It shows you what can happen in a competitive, mostly non-gutted league and this is why I really hope the leagues don't change. I couldn't be happier in Western Europe.
