San Diego Demolition at Honolulu Beach Boys - I don’t think I’ve ever loved the Beach Boys so much, but the opportunity to root for them against the Demolition is too good to pass up. It’s time for the battle royale between two elite teams in the West. “All Summer Long” it seemed like the Beach Boys would be “Still Cruisin”, but that “Little Deuce Coupe” Tana River drove ruined the Beach Boys Dreams of a perfect season; now it’s their turn to take down the Demolition! This is my GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!!

Demolition 30 - Beach Boys 28

Oklahoma City Strikers at Tana River Ewoks - I thought there was a Striker in Star Wars, but now that I think about it that was GI Joe so I guess I won’t have any funny Star Wars references this week The Strikers were able to strike down Los Alamos like the Mexican army invading the Alamo, but can they really match up against the Ewoks? Many have tried, but those furry little bastards are good!

Strikers 17 - Ewoks 43

Barbarian Horde at Huskers Illustrated Bugeaters - I had this game penciled in as a huge match up between the elite of the West, but then HI went and screwed that all up. While HI has been debating what is going wrong; the Horde is sitting back and kicking the crap out of everyone. It reminds me of their pillaging days of Season 3! Of course back in Season 3 is when HI challenged the Horde to a field goal kicking competition and then cheated by scoring a touch down. The Horde has not forgotten that game and came back that following season to score a touch down of their own against HI. They forgot to tell the defense to show up and let HI put up 31 points on them, but that’s beside the point. This season they’re out for blood! The Horde has never bet HI in the regular season, but there’s a first time for everything.

Horde 28 - Bugeaters 10

Big Bear Avalanche at Mentone Beach Assault - Encarta Dictionary defines Avalanche as a rapid downhill flow of a large mass of something dislodged from a mountainside or the top of a precipice, especially snow or ice. Well except for the snow or ice part I think that pretty much sums up Big Bear’s season.

Avalanche ? – Assault ?

Lake Placid Predators at Death Valley Grave Diggers - After a two game skid the Grave Diggers can’t be too excited about the standings and I’m sure plan to take it out on the Predators. Similar to a well known monster truck; I think they’ll roll the Predators similar to the seasons past.

Predators 17 - Grave Diggers 35

Guadalajara Gladiators at Sooner State Shockers - I was a little shocked to see the Gladiators rolled up by the Beach Boys like they were, but it won’t be anytime Sooner that the Shockers do the same to the Gladiators. All joking aside it’s do or die time for the Gladiators if they want to make the playoffs. It’s time to refocus guys!

Gladiators 75 - Shockers 3

South Bend Golden Hawks at Los Alamos Isotopes - I’m not sure if the Isotopes are back form vacation, but I’ve heard Nevstar is on suicide watch after that upset. I think the Isotopes were too busy looking at the end of the season and had it on cruise control. Hopefully they remember they have a game this week!

Golden Hawks 0 - Isotopes 155

Cleveland Elves at Mile High Mustangs - This match up only proves the Cleveland Elves are not the Cleveland Browns. There’s no way the Browns would have this match up on their schedule. On GLB, the Browns would play the Demolition twice while the Demolition got to play the Mustangs twice. Thankfully for the Elves this isn’t the NFL and this Cleveland team won’t get quite so screwed!

Elves 189 - Mustangs 0

And I thought you were at your desk working today!!!

I think writing the match-ups early is gonna be popular.
By the way, Encarta Dictionary defines ASSAULT as hysical or verbal attack, threat of bodily harm, rape, attempt to destroy something. I didn't realize we were actually raping people on the field...Damn we are sick!!!!
In that case we were raped by San Diego, Honolulu, and The Horde...next time we play them we are sewing our assholes shut.

Every top team in this league came in with distant hopes of going undefeated but I am sure, the same as us, we dismissed such a notion for obvious reasons. Sitting here at 10-0 is what we worked for, but not something I can say we expected. We have gotten a couple lucky sims against some very good teams and at this point its all gravy.
That said, when I first saw H.B.B's. roster before the season started I was definately impressed and they haven't suprised me with their play. This is gonna be a real tough game to win and we will go out there and see where the chips fall.

We have almost secured ourselves a top 4 playoff spot but its dependant on a lot of things, including beating Tana which is a tall-order for a short list of teams left to play.

Looking forward to it? Yes and No...Given the fact that every team has got to be rooting for the BeachBoys is definately some added motivation to win but, who am I kidding? This is GLB and ya cant do much with motivation.

I am suprised to see you give Demo the W while rooting for the BeachBoys but I guesse I can understand that logic, like I said, its not like we can step on the field ourselves. If that was the case, I'd bitch slap all you foo's, wapaaa!

Hey I root for the Assault every week, but I'm not surprised when Todd comes over crying about the Horde kicking our ass!

Good luck tomorrow MattMan. I'm interested to see how this one plays out. San Diego is a much deeper team so I'm not getting my hopes up. As long as our CB Paki Raider gets his first pick of the season we'll consider it a win for the Beach Boys (forum). He's been on a dry spell and he lets us know it, haha. For that same reason I hope the Raiders win this week too.

Damn Strikers beating the Isotopes. Hopefully they got it out of their system so they don't play to hard against us. I think they beat us last season. Good luck, we are looking for some revenge.

Same to you, just not too much. Lol Your team is solid as it gets so I am trying not to get my hopes up much either, we have gotten some lucky sims up until this point and were pulling for just 1 or two more. Hopefully we play well on both sides of the ball, its gonna take a great effort to beat you guys, you really have an awesome team.
As for your CB, well, I cant say I am pulling for em haha But I am positive your players will play well.

See ya on the field.

Good game. That was a total failure on our part. Absolutely nothing went right for us that game. We couldn't tackle either of your running backs for some reason. I think my whole LB core and secondary forgot to change their play focus from the Guadalajara game, haha.

Yeah that one hurt you guys. It was an interesting strategy to go for it on every 4th down. Good game guys. You gave us more than we wanted. Good luck, there is still a chance to make the playoffs.

Good game man, our team played pretty well the whole way thru. We started to lag a bit there in the 3rd quarter and you guys began a bit of a comeback, im just glad we stiffened up enough to keep the score out of reach. Pretty good performance by us though so I can't complain, I expected a really tough game and it was just that. We got a lucky sim. Our HBs had a couple big plays and that broke it open, the pick-6 seemed to put it out of reach early.

Good-luck throughout the rest of the season, I hope NOT to see you guys again in the playoffs.

Thanks for the kind words but I deserve very little of them. My team does but this one is on me I think. That sim had the most big runs we've ever given up. I've never seen anybody have more than one 20+ yard run on us. Your HBs are very good, and I'm very stupid. Bad combo, haha.

I wouldnt say all that. Stupidity is not what got you undefeated and a championship last season and it definately didnt get you to the top of this very very tough conference. I cant say I expected a decisive win, actually quite the opposite, your team made me nervous from the second I realized who was being promoted, and for good reason.

You have as good a chance as anyone in the league at winning a championship here...Your team is as tough as any of us.

Good game Predators. Not sure what's happening here, other than playing some of the toughest teams in consecutive weeks.
