also, i dont want it to be too crazy, but if you have an idea for an award, put it there as well. i dont want this thread to get out of sorts so please keep suggestions short. thanks guys

Personally, I'd whittle it down to :

Offensive MVP
Defensive MVP

Best O line
Best D line

Best Offense(as a unit)
Best Defense(as a unit)



the all pro voting or whatever would cover all the individual positions

i tried getting something like that done before .. its a very good idea but tough to do on a voting scale. i like the MVP voting then maybe a pro bowl selecetion.

fill each spot with a first and second team maybe ..

who would vote ? i was trying to get 3 voters from each team, but maybe the owners can pull their team captains and submit one vote for each spot from there team.

i would like to see a pro bowl vote get done, be nice to recognize some non-glamour spots

I say, each team get three votes. The owner, the OC, and the DC. That's it. It wouldn't be too much of a headache, and we would still get a fair amount of votes in. Voting deadline is before the first playoff game, and winners are to be announced the day before the championship game.

Can't vote for players from your own team though right?

Same thing as last year...its gonna take 2 weeks just to decide on who can vote and nobody will decide on anything and nobody will vote for squat. Just vote...for whatever categories, for whatever people. Make a thread, make a post and just vote on your own. I give props to willm for taking a little initiative on his midseason.

You can vote for whomever you want, but we're doing honor system. If you TRULY believe the best in the league was from your team, fine. If your whole ballot is full of your team, that's another story. I trust we can all do this objectively and without bias. Or at least without too much bias...

I would say the best way to do this is for each team to gather all three votes from its owner, OC, and DC and submit one PM to whoever will be tallying the results. I nominate willm. This way there aren't a ton of PM's flooding anyone's inbox.

i will do all the awards listed. i will take my time, and you will be happy with all the choices i assure you! i will do the all pro team as well...once again it will be fair, i think i am a good judge since i didnt hear to many complaints about the mid season one!

for mvp. i will have each team nominate amongst themselves their team mvp, they will let me know who it is, and i will narrow down the mvp race to 6 players. that i will put in a seperate thread where you can all vote on your favorite. i will then announce the winner. i will do all this before game 16, as what was said earlier about some teams playing a good Elephant team, and others playing the worse is true. i hope everyone is satisfied with it.

im not going to let it be all rhinos, or lions or any of the top teams, as i realize that many of their stats are padded( no one rushes for 3500 yards in a season). it ruins the fun of the game and the awards~

Strip the stats against the Bottom 2/3 teams then...

i hate having the gutted teams in this league, it does skew the stats so much they are almost meaningless.

I back Willm a 100% I think its a great idea, and I'm happy someone is actually going to do it!
