Manchester, take it easy on us Highlander's tomorrow! I started all of my reserves against the Gorrillas, and tweaked the energy, but we still won. We really need at least one year in a lower league for our team, but that win probably screwed us. I love this league's activity, but it's hard to get players to keep signing on to getting their ass whipped every week. Although, we have improved greatly from mid-season last year when I took over the team. I'd say that I enjoy rebuilding a team alot more than I would starting a new team from scratch. I don't chime in much on the forum, but I enjoy reading all of you guy's opinions and trash talk.

Keep in mind you may also benefit from a larger than usual promotion/relegation into season 6.

That is true. I also have purchased 13,000 new seats for my stadium this season so that should help with those crazy lvl 32 upgrades coming up.

Ok, so there hasn't been a lot of talk yet about the games of the week and there actually several. This is a huge seeding week for several teams.

In Alpha:
Euro vs Massillon: Is Massillon for real? We shall find out tomorrow and then on Monday they face Bonn in their own little end of the season Gauntlet.

In Zeta:
Big matchups abound...
Brighton-Birmingham
Italian-Edingurgh
and there's a couple more playoff implication games

I think the traditional powers will come through, Euro & Birmingham, but I think the Italian/Edingurgh game is the closest game potentially and I won't choose an outcome.

I hope we dont ship 49 against Dallas, it would be a blow to our progress if that were to happen. They should beat us but I think it will be closer than predicted.

At 5-5 (Which is where we were last season at this point), we are through the toughest part of our schedule. I don't think it will be as easy this season to win our last 6 heading into the playoffs, so we need to take care of business one game at a time over here in Whitechapel. The Playoffs are no fun to watch, Hoping we can remain a part of them. Go Rippers!!
