Most of these matches have pretty clear victors in my
mind but there are a few things to raise eyebrows.

Medan at New Guinea
Medan fine tunes and goes over Guinea's head.

Singapore at Bangkok
Bangkok recently defeats Singapore's horny little brother,
can they take down big sister Singapore? Singapore pushes
through for a W.
Singapore +10

69Mafia at Davao Dogs
We had problems putting down 69Mafia and the team looks
to be in a tuning phase, the roster is sharp. Davao may
get a well needed challenge out of this match but shouldn't
be threatened.
Davao +10

Ho Chi Minh at Buffalo
We're tired of happy ending jokes. Ho Chi Minh loses
again.
Buffalo +10

Ceret at Moscow
Ceret picks up a W against a rebuilding/gutted Moscow.
Ceret +10

Burma at Maui
Maui's aggressive 3-4 leaves Burma stumbling. Maui adds
another W. 5th place will become highly contested after
this match as Burma and Ujung should both have equal
records going into Game 11. Will they be fighting for
rights to get Singapore in the 1st round?
Maui +10

Chengdu at Japan
Japan struggles with early leadership in the triad. Chengdu
continues their playoff race.
Chengdu +100

Ujung at Shanghai
Ujung continues to tune after their secondary is bombarded
for two weeks in a row. The Shanghai crotch rockets get
muscled by the Panda Warriors.
Ujung +10

I appreciate these picks man, it's always good reading your stuff on here. It's one of the things that makes this a great league to play in.

I treated you folks special for that one. I didn't want to demoralize or make
fun of any losing squads so I figured I'd just set +10 as limit.

You guys think the new Weak I plays will be any good? I'm excited to bring the run at some flimsy RDE's..but that HB Blast where the HB lines up deep has never had good luck for me. I can't wait to see the weak I slam.

NO...but i can appreciate a team coming up into a league of pretty decent teams and holding their own..of course they are getting into the fun part of their schedule...they may not win more than 2 of their next 7...Ceret and Ho Chi Minh are the most likely wins...their next 7...Maui, Ceret, Ho Chi Minh, Davao, Medan, Singapore, Monte Cristo...not favarable...if i was gonna predict i say they end up
9-7...possible 10-6 with a upset...

10-6 is what we are hoping for. If we can accomplish that hopefully that will be enough to get us into the playoffs so we can get slaughtered in the first round.

Really, as far as I am concerned on this year, we could lose out on the rest of the year and it would still be a resounding success for the season.

I chuckle going back and looking at our assessments going in, and the levels we were capped to when the teams we were going to be facing had no cap at all for (hah, I'm not even sure how long most of you have been uncapped)..hmm, who knows how long, and not only that, were able to start recruiting players at the beginning of the offseason for a few days before we were promoted to finally get to start making signings above 16, since the A league didn't even get the 21 cap until promotions went though as well.

I came from a crap team in what is mostly a crap league before, so I can't even begin to desribe how fun this season has been.


Anyway, I'm just a touch on the drunk side, so I'll shut up now before I start writing lyrics to Kumbaya or something.

It's all good I'm drunk too. I had to drown my sorrows after that ridiculously pitiful performance by Clemson. I just took a dump that could do a better coaching job than that...

That's right -- I took Japan +100, and I am laughing all the way to the bank. Good thing Japan played the game with a run out the clock strategy though...

On the other hand, Burma having more yard on offense that Maui (although a 30-20 loss)? I didn't see THAT coming. Burma gets my early nod for coaching staff of the year (since it would be immodest to nominate myself).
