lol FG with 1 second left. Where's Rod at? Most likely, GC will be on a 7 game win streak when they face us week 14. The worst I see them finishing the season is 10-6. Really amazing is that the Mogadishu Malice are now alone in 2nd place. Great work boys!

A previous top 4 playoff seed with the second highest level average in your conference sitting at 5-5 past the half way point? No offense but that isnt 'exaggerated' and is definately under preforming.

He never said we weren't underperforming. He said rumors of our demise. There's a difference I'll even admit, we got a bad start to the season. But we're back now, to where we should be. Winning. I don't expect to be some ridiculously dominant team just because we have some higher level guys. I'll admit, my offensive plan sucked the first few weeks. But I got it together now We have the defense under control, too. But I'll never expect to have an insane record in this division, it is a solid one.

And yeah, the 1 second field goal was mostly because of my "just kick a dang field goal" setting in the offense.

As much as we love to hate yall, talent wise your one of if not the best team in Elephant (In my opinion atleast...). Im guessing that Rod has been busy or had something come up in real life as he hasnt been on this forum in nearly a month and thats the same frame of time that the Corsairs have dropped off. Im guessing scouting & tactics just arent getting the attention they had in the previous two seasons. I cant speak for the other teams in Elephant, but if my Marvins were down there you definately arent a lower seed that I would want to get in the first round of the playoffs.

Honestly, that was it. Rod had been really busy, as I had been -- being a grad student, along with teaching three sections of a public speaking course led to my offensive gameplan taking a bit to get written. But Rod was in much the same boat, being pretty busy.

And hey, we didn't get blown away in any of those games either -- kinda like my team over in Oceania last season. We were 12-4, but we didn't really decisively lose any of our regular season games. No more than a touchdown. Two one points and a 2 point loss, pretty much. So yeah, we'll still be solid come playoff time. The chem issues we had to start this year with a ton of the founders leaving did hurt us in many of the closer games, too. But now that we have a solid team, we're starting to rock again.

And hey, when we made our last playoff run that led to a silver trophy, we were 11-5 that season and won our conference from the #5 seed. We only lost the championship by 5 points too -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=78088

Thanks GM, we are working pretty hard over here. It's nice to finally be mentioned as one of the better teams in the league.
